THey were so aggressive that the Germans who tried to settle the area were scared out of their wits. I think the Germans had a deed to the land, but got stranded on the gulf coast, then in New Braunfels. They eventually brokered a peace deal with the Comanche....but they were some real BAMF's

The Aztec empire were the Mexica (which modern Mexico is named after), Texcoco, and Tlacopan, The Mexica were broken off from the Athebascan migration from the north which also included the modern navajo (dine) and apaches (n'dee) peoples.

In my language (Dakota) their name translates as "those who are mixed with yellow" as they were known as asian type people to us when they first attempted to invade our lands, but now they are darker skinned after 900 years of mixing with native populations.

It was violent in that area as that is where the red haired giants lived, who were CANNIBALS. All indigenous tribes who still have their culture know about these people who invaded our lands after the great flood subsided and the chosen people came back from our underground dwellings. Wakan Tanka the creator warned us of the flood coming which was used to purify the world, the next purification is almost here and will be by fire.

The world has already been destroyed by fire, the Great Burning came before the rains/floods and before the darkness and cold, and drove away all of the baskets( a metaphor for the loss of the many peoples) in the Maidu creation mythos.
