Because you all were just wondering the same thing, right?

Anyways, I rather enjoyed it. Relaxing but powerful at the same time. Let me know what you think or throw up some similar videos. While I'm at it, here's some Dead Can Dance just for snips and giggles.

Thanks, guys, I'm glad you all liked it. And If I never found that Metallica video, I wouldn't have been introduced to 2CELLOS. An earlier poster has already inducted them into the ATS search engine, but that won't stop me from posting another. So sad that I never heard of these guys.

And this is a CD that I actually own. I absolutely love it and recommend everyone pick it up who likes this type of stuff. And don't forget about Tool's numerous instrument tributes. Some are crap though. And yes, I still by CDs, lol.

I've always like "One," kind of reminds me of when I was shot on the Zim border and had to go back to the base. The way they did the song though was just magic and the flute, simply amazing and haunting at the same time.

Cheers - Dave

I really don't like Metallica as a band, but they have some great songs. I prefer listening to other bands cover them. One of my favourites is Iron Horse, doing Metallica bluegrass style.

Thanks Jude. I think your post just broke the thread. Too many things happening that shouldn't be. An all girl violin rock band? I'm so glad we we don't live in North Korea.

Music in North Korea is heavily influenced by the political situation there. The composition and performance of all music in North Korea is controlled by the state.

"I want this guitar immediately destroyed. It produces happiness and smiles."

Yikes!

Wish I could star you a thousand times for this. I have never heard of these guys. They are awesome! So glad you stumbled upon this and shared!!!

It's midnight here and snowing. I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow, so I am going to watch as many of their videos as I can.

Thanks again!!

That was great. I love hearing how songs sound when they're done on different instruments and forms of music. Thanks for posting.

I really enjoyed that, thank you. Such a great song. They should add that to the next Game of Thrones sound track. ~$heopleNation

It is Iron Maiden, by maidens.... lol
