Good lord this movie is badass!

I'm well aware of all the Keanu Reeves hate and if you fall into that camp do yourself a favor and go and see this because it may very well be the most underrated movie of the year!

My favorite revenge movie since Payback.

Senseless violence.

I wouldn't call it senseless. You may have missed the underlining symbolic theme of Love that drove that senseless violence.

It's seems to be one of the tenets of our society, that and of course rampant and unbridled extortion and exploitation, however the reasoning behind his killing spree is not senseless, it was purposeful, possibly even justified. Art mimics life maybe?

I didn't miss anything, including the fact that after saying you "wouldn't call it senseless", you immediately referred to it as "senseless".

Apparently you miss a lot of things.

All that aside, what did you think you were walking into when seeing this movie? That's like calling a romance movie unimpressive because it's filled with senseless romance.

i cant wait for this...i am a big fan of keanu...
i will be grabbing this as soon as i can....

ever see 47 ronin? that movie was awesome...people dogged it/him out but i thought it was bad ass.
man of tai chi was real good too but that was not really a vehicle for him....

as much as i liked ronin, speed, the matrix....nothing compares to point break for a keanu movie.
that movie never gets old....if you have not seen it you should. like right now

im about halfway through right now....wick is at the red circle whoopin some ass.

i love it...i love revenge type flicks....i forgot about payback....that was fantastic too...porter(mel gibson) was a great character in that...

so far i like wick better. everyone seems to know who he is and not to mess with him...

great movie so far..

i like how it was like a whole network of hitters and special lingo...
dinner for 12...no 'business' at the hotel unless you want to incur heavy penalties...
stuff like that.....

i liked winston(continental manager) and the cleaner too..


plus this has one of the coolest kills ive ever seen. after they put the bag on his head and he was fighting with them he got the one dude in a peruvian necktie...
never seen that in a movie before

I saw it recently. Loved it because no one has never do e a revenge for puppy death (it doesmt help that i had a beagle pup named Daisy), the inside look at hitmen, and how the bad guy realizes he dun goofed.

Also, Willem Dafoe is top form.

Keanu has no worries, he's been doing this for centuries.

I really enjoyed this movie. The movements and music in the violent sequences were choreographed in such a way to make them very artistic. It was quite thrilling to watch. Keanu was great as was the rest of the cast. Lots of funny and/or quirky characters. Can't wait for the dvd to come out.

senseless chick flick.
impressed

I went to see it last Sunday , it was better then i expected to be honest , i really liked the way they did the colors in the movie , everything was really dark .

The fighting scene's where awesome , it did set a movie record for most headshots probably , but i geuss that is the john Wick way , at some point i almost felt bad for the bad guys.

Just watched it again.
My fave revenge movie.
Gun fu is strong in KR.

I have watched this one many times...but never the puppy scene. Can't handle it. Mostly though,I love the soundtrack.

It's funny to visit an old thread and see people now banned lol
