so im on a thriller/serial killer movie kick right now and i am having a hard time coming up with something new to watch. was hoping you guys and gals could turn me onto a good one...
im a big time movie buff and the down side to that is it seems like eventually you run out.

you know, movies like se7en, murder by numbers, blood work, silence of the lambs, etc...

something like those......

ive been going through imdb user lists, related movies and user polls and i cant seem to find anything i have not seen but i know there has to be something.

thanks in advance

'Memento' is a good one.
'Time Crimes' leans toward science fiction, but it's still a good whodunit.
There are no serial killers in either, but there is a murder to be solved.

it dont have to be serial killer....i prefer those types of thriller but any mystery is good.

memento is awesome....love that flick....put christopher nolan on the map.

you sure its called time crimes? just looked on imdb and nothing came up for that title.

edit*
think something like shutter island....if not serial killer you know

i watched one a couple weeks ago called mr brooks...that was really good. i dont know how that slipped past my radar

Usual Suspects

A real whodunnit movie imo.
Also excellent cast, a lot of suspense.
Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne just to name a few

Ps: I'm so tired I actually typed Casual Suspects first, thankfully I noticed it before I hit the reply button.

Some others you may or may not have seen:

The Game
(Sean Penn, Michael Douglas)

The Bone Collector
(Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie)

Memento is very good. Failing that has the OP seem seven psychopaths?

That was pretty good for a big movie.

Triangle
PI
Jacobs Ladder.
Spoorloos
Identity

A serial killer one that is pretty crazy, not for the faint of heart.
The Poughkeepsie Tapes.

Have you seen..."Below", "The Frozen Ground", or "A Simple Plan" ?

The Frozen Ground has Nicolas Cage who gets on my nerves but it's an okay movie.

'Serial killer' themes don't seem to be popular right now, but it was a side story in "Con Air," which was a good Action/Adventure Thriller.

My all-time Thriller favorites are "The Rock" (Nicholas Cage), "AirForce One" (Harrison Ford), and "Apollo13". Most any of the Tom Clancy 'Jack Ryan' movies are great, if you like techno/political Thrillers (like "Hunt For Red October" or "Patriot Games"). Same with the "Mission Impossible" series (Tom Cruise).

And if you like a historical context, not much can beat "Troy" (Brad Pitt), "3:10 To Yuma" (Russell Crowe), "Tombstone" (Val Kilmer), or the first "Sherlock Holmes" (Robt.Downey Jr.). Also SciFi like "2012" or the first "Total Recall" (with Ah-nold)

Me too.
And I'm always the one who knows who the murderer is in the first 10 minutes of watching a tv show, but like you said, Usual Suspects caught me out too.

Great movie.

i loved jacobs ladder......
usual suspects is fantastic too....

notquiteinsane, all those are real good flicks...

i have been watching a lot of the thriller on netflix lately...i wouldnt call too many of them amazing movies but for b rate thrillers they have some pretty good ones...
another with john cusack called the factory...i liked that a lot...got terrible reviews but i thought it was good.
the perfect hose is another.....

sometimes they just strike a chord with me and i can watch them several times even though they are not fantastic. one like that that comes to mind is called the perfect getaway.
timothy olyphant, mila jovovish, and steve zahn.....
loved that one......

John Malkovich as Cyrus 'The Virus' in con Air was a great charecter.

I always thought it would have made a great side movie/spin off.

He nailed it.
