The gloves are off. A recent Putin Speech summarized.

1. Russia will no longer play games and engage in back-room negotiations over trifles. But Russia is prepared for serious conversations and agreements, if these are conducive to collective security, are based on fairness and take into account the interests of each side.

2. All systems of global collective security now lie in ruins. There are no longer any international security guarantees at all. And the entity that destroyed them has a name: The United States of America.

3. The builders of the New World Order have failed, having built a sand castle. Whether or not a new world order of any sort is to be built is not just Russia's decision, but it is a decision that will not be made without Russia.

6. Russia will not attempt to reformat the world in her own image, but neither will she allow anyone to reformat her in their image. Russia will not close herself off from the world, but anyone who tries to close her off from the world will be sure to reap a whirlwind.

8. Russia does not intend to take an active role in thwarting those who are still attempting to construct their New World Order - until their efforts start to impinge on Russia's key interests. Russia would prefer to stand by and watch them give themselves as many lumps as their poor heads can take. But those who manage to drag Russia into this process, through disregard for her interests, will be taught the true meaning of pain.

9. In her external, and, even more so, internal politics, Russia's power will rely not on the elites and their back-room dealing, but on the will of the people.

any interpretations on what the underlined portion means? To me this kinda sounds like they are prepared to battle if you dont want to have anything to do with them. Just sounds like fighting words on 6 and 8....

I like it

Propaganda is propaganda. What is this meandering piece of written rubbish supposed to do? Stick what in whose pipe? This says or does nothing. More of the same. We could be$^tch slap him down with words but what does that really do? Putin is a dangerous man. A legend in his own mind. God help us all .

This isn't even the speech verbatim. It is 9 summarized points by a russian blogger, with a 10th point made up by the russian blogger. Anyone got a copy of the actual speech?

Its hard to say with confidence what is happening in the world but I tend agree with Russia's perspective that US is trying to start a major war in Europe to reward its own economic stability. Russia see's the funding of hostiles in Ukraine as a major threat against its borders so time is not on their side. So I wouldn't be surprised to see a sneak Russian (and possibly China) offensive directly against the US in the very near future.

I thought it was a good speech that blew the cobwebs out.

All empires crumble with time. Every empire that has crumpled has crumpled from within when the elite forgot that the Empire is made up of the citizens.

History repeats endlessly

Yes it will be bad idea for all but if US cannot protect itself against 18 terrorist in planes flying within its borders what if 10 cities in US suddenly exploded in nuclear devastation without any missile trail. Will US risk further destruction by attacking Russia under the presumption it made the attack or will it capitulate.

US has sanctioned Russia from rest of world. There are 8000 nuclear reasons why that is not a good idea.

You know I never took John Titor seriously in the past but when he spoke of a War in 2015 that kills 3 billion people, you got to admit that it's kinda eerie in itself given the current events.

I'll NEVER understand why we can't all just get a long, share this planet and grow together spiritually without the need for religion. Don't get me wrong, I believe in Jesus Christ but religion is the problem. Humanity was given a God to believe in, a long with a set of rules written in a book to follow that people are literally willing to kill for.

What we really need is to believe in something that we ALL know is for real and that is humanity. Even with all our faults, humanity still have the ability to do GREAT things, things that can go far beyond then just this planet.

The problem is people are ignorant because of Ego and it's the Ego that blinds us from seeing the potential of what Humanity can become for it is Ego, the reason we can't think beyond anything but ourselves. We give into our Ego, for greed, and whatever desires for short term gain instead of thinking of consequences of our actions in the long term.

What we this planet really needs is people to really wake up and realize what is important.

Lately all I've been doing is screaming on the inside, thinking, contemplating on whether or not I want to put in the effort to actually do something creative to grab the attention of the citizens of this World. I don't see why we, ATS, a community that I've throughly enjoyed watching grow over the years, many of which are extremely creative and well written word smiths can't start a project of some sort to attempt to wake this World up from ignorance and give them something to believe in so we can take back this planet and be free rather then enslaved.

I, like Edgar Cayce also believe that we Humanity can change the outcome with our Free Will and that is our purpose.

There's a saying..

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do" - Steve Jobs

I am one of those people. If you are one of those people, you need to believe in yourself. Fear not of those who will ridicule you for trying to do what you think is right. The only people that will ridicule you are the ones who don't know themselves like we do, let alone believe in themselves.

I used to have apathy for Humanity. I used to believe we all deserve to die and don't deserve this planet but I was wrong, and now I'm standing up for what I believe in, and that's Humanity.

My biggest fear isn't even dying, it's dying without ever doing anything to help change the world for the better.

-----

On a side note. I'm really starting to like Putin, but the tolerance can only last for so long till you back the bear in the corner.

It started more or less with NATO attacking Libya. There were 33.000 Chinese and a bunch of Russians working in the oil industry who had to flee when NATO attacked. Russia also just made and agreement with Gaddafi to build a Russian navel base in Libya.

Around the same time US instigated uproar in Syria which is also an ally of Russia.

Ukraine was 3th "ally" with actions taken against them.

Iran is also still in the planning, just look at what General Wesley Clark said, and that`s the fourth ally which is under threat by US/NATO.

Russia itself is under economic attack by US.

So you do the math as to why "the gloves are off."

And despite NATO being more powerful conventional, Russia can`t be taken over that easily. NATO hasn`t got enough troops to do that. Afghanistan needed about half a million troops to secure and Russia will take way way way more as that, too much to bare for NATO. US also still needs troops on all the rest of the bases it has in the World, so it`s limited in what it could send in.

But it never will stay conventional and will go nuclear for sure, so Russia can`t be beaten and knows it.

Russia will stand its ground and US/EU seems to be dead set in breaking Russia (and the Iran/China/Russia alliance). I have no idea where Russia has drawn the line, it could be with Syria or Iran. After Libya Russia already made one and another clear towards the West regarding it when US wanted to attack Syria last year.

And when Ukrainian government got toppled and replaced by Western puppets Russia again gave a message with Crimea and Eastern Ukraine.

The whole unusual Russian Air Force activity this week in Europe and the Putin speech are also warnings to the West to back down with pushing against Russia (China and Iran).

There are two problems, first the media thinks for people rather than informs people, second is as you say, people are more interested in appeasing their immediate desires rather then helping their brothers and sisters. Two very big obstacles to overcome and time runs short.

I recently have been in contact with someone very religious who has visions regularly. I don't know exactly what she did but was surprised to receive a very strong vision after communicating with her (I have never had visions before). The date I was given is before the next total solar eclipse in Europe.

We have time to try look after our immediate family but the world I'm afraid is on a path to hell. Just try remember that like nightmares which we awaken from sleep, we will awaken from the coming nightmare as well.

It's all drivel designed to make an authoritarian and belligerent Russia look like the victim. "Look, we're not the bully, because..."

There won't be a war in Europe. There are no signs or moves for this to happen.

Russia has been the perpetrator of conflict since the equally guilty Soviet Union fell to pieces. From 1992 in Transnistria, through Georgia 1 and 2 and Chechnya 1 and 2, all the way to Ukraine and a few places in between.

Not really against Russia, but against central Europe ... Germany is the nation, that will take the steepest dive as a result of US policy.

Their intent? enslave Germany, ensure it will not break free of their chains ... and the same goes for Europe.

What you are missing in this equation is something that is almost obvious ... yet, subtle.

Almost all the current atomic nations, are previous "colonies". India, Pakistan, China, Turkey, Israel and ... yes, THE UNITED STATES.

What do they all fear?

A UNITED EUROPE.

The US has made no hidden fact of, that they intend to destroy EU ... as an aftermath of 2001, and their start of the war on Iraq. They "killed" France, as a political leader of Europe ... now, they are going to kill Germany, as the financial supporter of Europe.

Problem with Russia is, it's standing by and doesn't care ... I'd like to see Russia, stand by Europe.

Looks like FSB (known as KGB) figured out that US Globalists are planing a World War 3.

To get themselves out of financial crap they put themselves in.

Looks like Russia is saying -

Don't start a war you are not sure you can win..

China is not a friend to any nation. Definitely not more of a friend to Russia than they are of the USA. China has been able to become a global powerhouse due to partnership with the USA. China only befriends Russia due to their abundance of fossil fuels.

In 20-30 years when most energy is produced without fossil fuels I doubt China will want anything to do with Russia.

Well considering the USA has spent more on the military over the past 10 years than the rest of the world combined, I think it is safe to say we aren't worried. I hope there is not a WW3, but if there was I wouldn't bet on Russia coming out on top.
