I assume there were no though about sabotage? Considering where it launched. Won't hurt to considering the possibility even it deemed a accident of sort.

Its still a valid question right?

I live about 10 miles from the flight facility(Pocomoke, MD), and have a clear view of the flight path. The flight was cancelled and never took place the first night. I know this because my wife and I were outside watching for the rocket. After a few minutes waiting for the lauch, and not seeing it, we went back inside and checked the local wallops channel for info and saw it was cancelled due to the boat in the debri zone. Probably someone just trying to get a good view and not realising the danger. The coast guard tried contacting the boat but never received an answer. Pretty typical for people to gather around in the area to watch. Usually the bridge/road into chincoteague Island is packed with bystanders waiting to watch.

About 8 hours after this failed launch, a second scheduled launch was successful. ISS has plenty of supplies and is in no danger of running out anytime soon.

8 hours after the failed scrubbed launch...
Would have put it around 1:30 2AM....
Then what took off..

The Antares didn't launch till 25 hours later only to blow up?

This is getting weirder by the moment.
Thanks for that info.

Where are you guys? Nothing specific like address but what city? I'm in Hampton across the bay from Wallops Island. We can see the launches from here. I thought I'd just missed it the other day. You say you saw a launch? I didn't hear that it was postponed from anyone other than my husband and God knows he's been wrong before Lol. a reply to: Dracan6

Thanks Autumnwitch for coming back.. your first post on page 2 started the bells..
Then when Dracan and sahabi posted... the whistles went off..
Could be anything I suppose like a secrecy military launch..
But the accounts are strange...
Thanks!

SWITZERLAND, Basel — Unable to execute the North Korean nuclear EMP attack on October 24, 2014, during the 2014 World Series in San Francisco, it now appears that the Obama administration (at the behest of the CIA) is plotting a second EMP attack, only this time on the East Coast of the Unite States. Come Monday night, October 27, 2014, the Antares rocket is slated to launch from the Wallops Flight Facility, in Virginia. The nighttime launch will be visible along much of the eastern seaboard. At some point during its flight, the rocket will likely suffer a so-called “cyber-attack”, resulting in a massive EMP-like explosion, knocking out electricity on the East Coast of America for good

I was going to do a write up on this, this morning. (I wish I had) We saw a rocket very clearly in the sky last afternoon, then come to find out out later--the launch was canceled!
How many people saw a rocket go up at the designated time yesterday afternoon?
I for one, my wife was by me, saw a rocket. A friend a few miles away saw it as well. We all have astronomy optics, and we all saw it!
To see an event, that wasn't supposed to happen. Vexed me a lot.

Now that the delayed event, blew up. I am defiantly going to have to get some stuff together. I have taken a screen shot, of the same questions on the NASA site.

Add me to that list. Me and my coworkers sat out and watched, what appeared to be the rocket launch, during the original designated time and designated trajectory (10-27-14). We were all very confused when we later heard it was postponed, and even more taken back when it exploded.

My buddy joked, "Yesterday was the real, actual launch of something very secret and important. Today they blew up the supposed rocket so that no one would ever question or look for what went up yesterday."

We live in an area situated in the vicinity of two international airports, one regional airport, and a corporate air dock. We are accustomed to seeing a variety of aircraft at a variety of altitudes,... what we saw was definitely outside the norm for normal air traffic.

When that rocket blew up, my first thought was "What are they trying to hide?" My second thought was, "I've been hanging around ATS too long." LOL

According to NASA, the cargo aboard the NASA-contracted rocket -- which was manufactured by Dulles, Virginia-based Orbital Sciences Corporation -- included:

1,360 pounds of food supplies
289 pounds of crew equipment and flight procedure books
1,404 pounds of vehicle hardware
146 pounds of spacewalk equipment
82 pounds of computer equipment.

The rocket was also loaded with 1,603 pounds of science experiments, 18 of which were designed by students from schools across the U.S. The student projects were selected from 1, 487 proposals submitted to the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program.

Is it Ed Dames with remote viewing who mentions that just before WWIII begins, that a shuttle would explode in the U.S.?

If anyone has information about ED DAMES and what he might be thinking about this event currently- please post..! I will have to look at the KILL SHOT videos again to review..

Some info. These things happen. Rocket engines are very sophisticated. This means there are many components some are bound to fail.

That's actually really interesting as it coincides with ED DAMES, and what he states about a North Korean attack on the United States.. EMP.. Someone needs to look up Ed Dames the KILL SHOT..

Watching the live stream .... good thing this didn't blow yesterday with that boater in the safety zone! What a mess. Fire everywhere. Listening to the mission control ... guy sounded shaky.
Not unless the boater was there on purpose to delay the launch

so what about this strange info on this launch going through the day before ?

Any more takers ?

I'm thinking...I don't know the area...are people living near by the launch site ? Surely someone could have filmed this alleged launch on the original date...would they dare to fake this with so many eyes watching ?

Maybe you guys saw something else...or maybe you didn't.

I don't know why...but something stinks on that guys hitting self destruct button because of catastrophic equipment failure. I guess it's reasonable for it to be a safety protocol if the rocket becomes uncontrollable to prevent it to wonder off trajectory and hit something. But somehow...it stinks.

This highlights the fallacy of conventional propulsion But it's the best we have for the time being-Until someone comes up with an alternate solution.

It doesn't bear to think what consequences of a nuclear-propulsion or antimatter-propulsion failure would be.
