Songs From your Home Town

Right I don't know if this has been done before on ATS but I think this could be a really cool idea.

A thread full of tunes from members home towns. The rules are simple if the band or artist is from your home town post a video.

I absolute love Scottish music right now and cannot get enough of it but I know there are going to be members from all over the world whose music is awesome and I am looking for some new stuff.

Just like some pretty cool stuff that has came out of Glasgow over the years, here are some of my favourites.






So there are a few from Glasgow to get us started, i could have listed more but I just want to get the ball rolling on this.

We could even try to make a game out of it and see of we can all guess your home town based on the tunes you post.

Lets just spend a a little time together listening to some good music, and chill out.

This isn't from my home town, but my family owned land in WV and growing up, I've gone to sporting events there. Hearing the people sing this all together from both teams and feeling the emotions sweep through the crowd is just awe inspiring. I've never seen anything else like it in this world, not even the national anthem gets people as moved.



Being of Scottish descent on my father's side, this is my favorite song from the Island. ;p



From Pittsburgh, this is my favorite song.



I grew up in Ohio, so NIN, MM, Judas Priest or Mushroom Head from there. ;p

Well, since I come from a little tiny town on an island in southeast Alaska, there are not many famous people from there, however, one of my friends from school there made this "Official" video for his band featuring his daughter, and it is not bad.


Now, I have two other "hometowns"
I am not sure if Duluth had any famous singers from it, however Hibbing does.

My mom dated Bob Dylan in high school back when he was Zimmerman.
