Oil below $80 is unprofitable for US shale oil industry to make a profit. This means US shale oil industry loses money with oil below $80.

Russian budget is balanced at oil at $90. This does not mean that oil below $90 Russia is losing money but that oil alone will not be able to balance its budget. Russia has other revenue sources that would balance its budget like gas, commodities, weapons export etc.

Europe can get gas from US but it would not be as cheap and smooth flowing as Russian gas. Europe can get gas from a third source like Iran but then it will become captive to Iranian schemes. Europe will take Russian any day before Iran as a steady supplier.

Ukraine has to still pay the gas bills. Oh wait Ukraine is falling apart.

Why would I expect you to actually read the article in the link of the OP, because if you did you would see they are going to pay their bill and they will have heat this winter...that must make you and the other Putinista's mad since you didn't want to see Ukraine with gas for the winter.
