Steve Hartman meets Pittsburgh detective Jack Mook, a no-nonsense 22-year veteran of the force, and a committed bachelor. When Mook decided to take in two foster kids after meeting them at a boxing gym, the tough-guy bachelor got a rebranding.

Quick summary, a detective who volunteers at a local gym for underprivileged children met two kids he connected with. One day when they didn't show up, he went looking for them. He found one of the kids on the street looking tired and worn out. Come to find out the foster home they were in weren't taking care of them.
