We are begging them to take our rights away.

I'm not going to lie. I've said it myself. "They should give everyone 3 days to get back home then shut down travel to any other country."

Yes, it is to protect us but how many times have I griped about giving our rights away to protect us from terrorist?

It almost reminds me of Star Wars where things get so bad, people are begging senator palpatine to take over.

Could that be it? Could that be what is going on here? Only one person has been confirmed so when it's 100 Confirmed cases are we going to beg them to put us in quarantine or implement marshal law?

I really need to stop and take a breath and think.

There is no comparison between being quarantined as a matter of public health, and being corralled as part of a politically motivated institution of martial law.

If people start dropping like flies, with their internal organs liquifying within their torsos, then whether the government are involved with the outbreak or not, the only option to prevent its being spread, would be one or another form of quarantine. So the situation is this... Even if your government was complicit in the prevailing circumstance coming to pass, your ONLY option would be some sort of isolation based quarantine, because failing to limit exposure to potential carriers, and sources of infection, would result in catastrophic consequences.

Given that the way the situation would effect you personally, would be identical regardless of the initiating factor, this would be one of those situations where no matter what the cause is, you would have to just suck it up, and roll with it, against the possibility that you will be able to take to task those responsible, after the danger of infection is passed.

There would be no other option, assuming you wanted to remain alive long enough to crotch punt an official over the issue later on.

it is kind of hard not to feel that way when those we trust are complicit in their negligence to let it get to this point........it is at the point where you have just jumped onto the roller coaster and you have to believe that those that maintain the ride have done what is necessary for the ride to run smoothly and not fall off the tracks

You know, you actually bring up a really good point. *According to some* there is a hidden super/ultra powerful cabal that is planning to do the world in, and wants to seize total power in the US and kill off all your children, etc, etc, etc.

Well, it just really doesn't turn out like that.

Don't get me wrong, the military industrial complex is very real, and so are powerful international bankers/businessmen/politicians hell bent on globalization (they write books on it, and are not that secretive about their actions).


I guess my point is, is if the world really was as some tin foilers see it as, why hadn't they done a fake, or even deliberately introduce ebola long before simply to round up everyone in their homes under the threat of force?


In any case, should the disease begin to spread in the continental US, you should only be too welcoming for a mandatory quarantine/curfew/restricted movement. It really isn't something you want to have to worry about when mingling in public.

The thought of my organs turning to mush, simply because my hand touched infected bodily fluids somewhere when I was shopping, etc... Yeah, Id rather live with the marshall law for a year or two.

yep because money doesn't create greed...people want what is best for everyone (in a perfect world)...those that have oodles of money are not trying whatever they can to keep that money they want to share it for the benefit of mankind....you know like keeping up the space race.....considering we have a united world with no starving people and no need for war.....we have the technology to live in a utopia...yet we do not

This issue regarding the ebola virus is temporary....I could care less if they shut down flights to and from Africa or from other countries...lets get back to farming and good old fashion agriculture right here in the United States...lets get back to furniture being made in this country and other goods...
