More news from the robot revolution. Here's a video of some robots that might be on the battlefield in the future. This is actually a good idea. For instance, instead of sending troops to go after a group like ISIS, you send these robots.

Of course there's dangers to this. Some of these robots could end up walking the streets and hunting down civilians. But the cat is out of the bag and these things are on a course to inevitability.

When the "winners" don't need humans for "muscle", they become very irritated they have to share their spoils with 10B people. 1 B is easier to "manage".

Bottom line, watch your back.

Here's a few more videos. Here's one of these robots running and turning.

I wish I could start that one a few times. That's the real issue. There are things a military run by people just won't do, that robots will, like attacking their own people. Robot soldiers have the effect of concentrating military power into fewer and fewer hands.

Well I guess the TPTB will no longer have to worry about the military attacking civilian population once they become the norm.

Wow! I didn't realize they could make them move so life like and flawlessly like that, it is actually kind of scary. It is strange that I sort of felt sorry for the one the guy kept kicking but remembered it is just a robot lol

It may seem like a good idea at first, but in the end it may cause an increase in the use of military force around the world. If the country waging war has robots, it will reduce the human concerns and emotions that go along with waging war. There will be a lot less "should we, or shouldn't we" enter world conflicts. Instead, they'll just say... "Just send in the bots" without a second thought. The human toll of war will simply diminish in the eyes of countries who possess fighting robots.

I just think we continue to put too much emphasis on using technology to wage war instead of using technology for environmental and peaceful needs for humanity.

Good points. They really made the legs life like. It almost looked like 2 human legs were holding the robot up when it was sliding downhill and on ice.

Those are valid concerns but I don't think there's much we can do about it because the cat is out of the bag. Machine learning and intelligence is advancing rapidly. So these robots and simulations will just advance and we have to hope that Governments do the right thing (insert sarcasm).

Just think about the early personal computer that Woz had in his garage or the early days of the internet. We're seeing that with robotics, machine learning and machine intelligence. In 20 to 40 years, these robots could look like shifters from Fringe and we wouldn't know if we were getting bit by a real mosquito or a drone mosquito.

So this is the future army, and air force that will give us a hegemonic victory over the world government's permanently installing the American dollar as the world wide currency. Armored divisions will be disabled by swarms of insect robots, troops will be infected with diseases rendering them ineffective, unruly civilian populations will be injected with diarrhea causing drugs sending them all to the nearest toilets..... Opposing air forces will drop from the sky, navies will will be stripped of there crews turning there war machines into scrap metal.

WW3 will be fought with EMPS
