John Baird (foreign affairs minister) will address the security council about the Iraq situation.....
Aparently to reiterate how wonderfully America is handling the whole mess, as well as pledge undying support of his puppet regime to the cause of eradicating ISIL....Big Whoop......
Obviously just more of the same propaganda.....Mark my words we will see more boots on the ground as time goes by....if not ill gladly eat them.....

Baird is such a goof. He is Harpers main goon. I don't recall
the meddling in foreign affairs being in the conservatives
mandate. Now they are going to start some *snip* that the Liberals are going to have to face off with in next years election. Harper knows that Trudeau is soft or at least very liberal on terrorism so if Harper can drum up enough fear and engage in enough commitments that Trudeau is fundamentally against, Harper will be able to hit Trudeau with either accusations of flip-flopping or terror appeasement either way Trudeau goes.

The truth is it's all about cutting military spending so that when the election comes around next year, there'll be a nice surplus to promise lollipops and chocolate for everyone.

Stephen Harper has been one of the toughest-talking leaders throughout the Ukraine crisis, yet newly released figures show National Defence is expected to face an even deeper budget hole in the coming year than previously anticipated.

The ongoing reductions come as the prime minister is expected to resist pressure from allies at this week's NATO summit to spend substantially more on the military.

Annual spending on the military, when compared with 2011, is slated to shrink by a total of $2.7-billion in 2015, according to a briefing note prepared for the deputy defence minister.

You do have a point as the navy just today mothballed the last of its ships almost. We are down to zero supply ships from 2, and 1 or no destroyers.

Well the incompetent idiots buggered the last supply ship off Hawaii and had to get towed home.....Do you believe that Canada had the third largest navy in the world coming out of ww2?
They are all breakwaters now......
Still i suspect well be mixing it up with ISIL in increments....we still have a few F18s to throw in.....leaving the Russians to play at attacking over the pole unchallenged ....but hey Obama wants ISIL dead....so.....


On that note....just what are we going to do to these guys?
