LIVE: President Obama to deliver prime-time address regarding ISIS tonight

At 9pm eastern time, President Obama is expected to lay out his strategy for degrading and ultimately destroying the ISlL threat.

Air strikes in lraq have done little to ebb the flow and expansion of this groups brutal clutch. Aerial surveillance over Syria may have presented the US with targets and intelligence for possible strikes inside the country where ISIL enjoys open borders with Iraq.

I bet he suggests a combined force of many nations to continue bombings and maybe a ground invasion.

Any invasive action in Syria will be seen as an act of war according to the Assad government. The potential for heightened conflict from a US led coalition of forces possibly intervening in Syria could exacerbate the issue extensively.

Assad is armed to the teeth with Russian artillery and defense systems. Let's hope a asymmetrical response from the Syrian government doesn't happen, if it does all hell will break loose.
