I have always said that Tepco will walk away from Fukushima and leave it as is. The "cleanup" effort will continue until either shortly after the Olympics are held or until they are cancelled and moved elsewhere out of safety concerns for the athletes. It nothing more than a political shell game at this point...they can't touch what is left of the three reactor buildings and won't be able to touch them for decades.

It's all political grandstanding and face-saving.
