This is part of Google's plan to have machines think like humans one day.

Google said it is working on a super-fast "quantum" computer chip as part a vision to one day have machines think like humans.

The Internet titan on Tuesday added renowned researcher John Martinis and his team at the University of California, Santa Barbara, to the Quantum Artificial Intelligence team at Google, according to director of engineering Hartmut Neven.

More news from the robot revolution. Machine intelligence is close and there's more stories coming out every other day. A big breakthrough must be close or it's already happened and they're getting us ready.

I'd put dollars to donuts this technology has been around for a long, long time. I can see having AI help in every day life. But, like another article stated, we have to design the AI to value human life before we can set it free. If AI feels pitty for us, it could kill us. It could kill us just the same if it feels we are a threat to it. So it's a slippery slope.

This has to be a bear to debug.

Try searching with Aluminum monohydride for more details.
