Weird face in a picture my mom took.

My mom took this picture at a campsite across the road from fort crown point. I honestly can't really see it that well but she says she sees a face in the fire in the top right corner. What does everyone think?

If u look there's actually are three. The top right, the one you pointed out, then look at the entire left side of the flame, it makes a strange almost beaked profile and also look beneath the 'Beak' at the arch and if you look you can see a second face.

So that's three. Probably just my eyes picking out patters but still.

I think it's an example of pareidolia like this .

The Human brain is programmed to pick out faces , I see Casper the friendly(fiery) ghost on the right of the image

I see a face in the leaves in the middle, maybe a couple. Similar thing happens when I take a picture using my smartphone. The Google face recognition software puts a yellow square around some random bit of geometry, saying it can see a face.

I see it, but its just random.

Fire flickers really rapidly, take enough photos and you are going to catch somthing that looks like somthing, be it a person or a animal or whatever.

definitely got some creepy vibe to it, but as i said, random coincidence and timing.

The mind just wants to see it. It's like cloud gazing.
