i tried to post this earlier this morning while surfing the talking head shows and heard this on Meet The Press in the breaking news forum.
in my zeal to post it first i grabbed a stroy from three years ago and it was trashed.now for some reason i can't post it there.

DAVID GREGORY:
Now to Chris Gunness spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. It's his organization that runs the school in northern Gaza that was devastated on Thursday by this attack that left at least 16 people dead including children.

This school was crowded with hundreds of Palestinians seeking refuge from the fierce fighting. Mr. Gunness, as you heard the prime minister say, and you know of course, this fighting has resumed, despite talk of ceasefires. Are there other UN facilities that have been hit?

CHRIS GUNNESS: Well, just within the last few minutes, quite literally, I'm hearing from colleagues in Gaza of some kind of explosion, which initial reports indicate is actually inside the main UN compound in the remote district of Gaza City. We have got people on the ground investigating. We cannot say what it is.
But clearly, it is another tragic example of what could happen to civilians in this pitiless conflict. Look at Beit Hanoun that you just talked to prime minister about, women, children. We saw the pictures of the most appalling carnage. And that is why justice with this instance that has happened in the last two minutes at the UN compound in Gaza, we call on the warring parties to respect the sanctity of civilian life. The inviolability of UN premises, and of course, to respect international humanitarian law obligations to humanitarian workers. Because we have lost three workers.
Meet the Press Transcript - July 27, 2014

wonder who will get blamed for this one, i'm also beginning to wonder about all these UN schools and hospitals and such being hit.

on the show they showed the video that shows a rocket attack being launched, you can read it in the transcript. you also see were MR. GUNNESS says they found weapons.

CHRIS GUNNESS: Let me but very clear about this. UNRWA is responsible for its own installations. And where we have found neutrality violations by militants, as we did with rockets being discovered in schools which were closed and mothballed for the summer, we proactively issued a statement strongly condemning it as a flagrant violation of international law.

after hearing and reading this i'm beginning to wonder if Hamas is trying to frame Israel and pull the rest of the world into it.
i have no doubts that they are using them as a shield, but this is starting to look like more than that to me.

The Palestinians pitiful weaponry is not meant to harm Israel physically....
The aim is to show the Israelis for the butchers they have become...
The only weapon Palestine has is to die in droves under the Israeli onslaught...thus swinging the worlds opinion in their favour...
So they launch their pitiful fireworks and die beneath the power and might of the IDFs retaliation.....
Its Ironic that the nation that was born from the torture of 6,000,000 souls is birthing another in the same way.....

The proverbial hand of sympathy caught in the cookie jar ... or something even more sinister?

It feels like somebody knows something ... and they ain't tellin' ... not the full background anyway.

The main talk about Gaza with Chris Gunness is about the school that was hit by Israel, Gunness was not able to see the video Israel has released saying that rockets were fired from that school that was what Gregory was referring to, the video itself has not been verified by anyone. *Later the UN say that the video was not showing that school. That portion of MTP I can't get on youtube as yet, while most of the rest is, but the MTP video is here,

www.rawstory.com...

and you will also find it at the MTP home page.

*The disclaimer from the UN is included in a correction from David Gregory some time later.

More, and first off, the found weapons were not about this particular school, it was elsewhere, and it's still not clear who's weapons were found elsewhere. As you say, there is more to be considered because ISIS is on the ground in Gaza, and does anybody really know who ISIS is? On top of that Israel has already mentioned that they think some rockets were from ISIS.
I said last night in a different thread that there are grounds to believe that not only Israel and Egypt would prefer that the tunnels should be closed, but also HAMAS themselves..at least those going into Egypt, but likely the tunnels to Israel too. There are reasons for why HAMAS would think that way that, but Google it, I won't say why I think that here.
This is the Netanyahu's interview today, and reading between the lines, above all things it's the tunnels he wants closed, the demilitarized bit could be more directed at ISIS rather than HAMAS, but no matter, it's the tunnels that's the biggy, Israel can easily deal with HAMAS, while ISIS is the problem. But please listen carefully to what Netanyahu is saying, or rather what he doesn't say, and make your own mind up

i think they know exactly what hamas/somebody is storing weapons and hiding in their buildings and are not going to admit it.

i agree somewhat with that, but what really got my attention is the first thing out of the Chris Gunness mouth was reports of a hit in the main compound and David Gregory not pursuing that right then and there, just letting it go with out asking anything, what kinda news man is that, i know the show is structured, but when a chance to scoop the others comes along all good news people know to run with it.

and almost 4 hours later when i posted it, there was not one bleep on the net or any where that i could find, other than the transcript from meet the press.
and now almost 9 hrs later still nothing but what you posted, something stinks or it was a false report.

Of course nothing was followed up. The narrative must be strictly adhered to.

What stuns me, is how silent the voices on this site are regarding an obvious conspiracy of facts. I would be worried that people have adopted a stance and are sticking to it because they're just burned out from all of 'The Change' and none of 'The Hope' we were promised.

Netanyahu is facing the distraction of life and death. Facing it yourself is a matter of personal heroics ... too easy. Deciding the fate of others is the challenge. Consider how easy it is for 'our leader' to send in the drones when it suits his agenda, compared to threading the needle for Israel. Israel could push every resident of Gaza into the sea in less than 24 hours ... if they wanted to.

I could (and should) say more, but this is too unpopular of an opinion ATM, and there's no apparent reason to get folks riled up over the ME. Can't do anything about it from a keypad anyway.

-Cheers

yeah it amazes me too. people take a stance, or from a opinion and stick to it regardless of facts shown to them from history, or any other source yet they still want to hold fast to their stance.

there is documented evidence that shows that Hebrew /Jews and Arabs are both Semtic, and that both have been in the land as far back as records go. there is also evidence that both lived in the land in relative peace during this time.
hell they even fought the Christian Crusaders together.

there is also evidence that during the British Mandate while they promised it the "Palestinians" they were also doing the same with the Jews. it is also known as a fact that the Arabs refused a two state deal in 1947.

yet it is all Israel fault. if they are pissed they should be pissed at the British, they were the one doing all the promising.

but you never hear any one say that do ya.
