I've not seen anyone here call for the extermination of jews. Being against Israel and their crimes against humanity, IMO, is being against Zionism, NOT "anti-Semitism". It's the same as hating white supremacists but liking white folk. Israel deserves the criticism that they are getting now and hopefully charges will be filed against them for war crimes.

my question is why/how antisemitism began? why have the jews been hated for so long? its about the idea of antisemitism without any real implications.

im aware that israel and jews are different. that one can oppose the actions of israel without being antisemitic. to oppose israel (without wanting their destruction that is) is to oppose the actions of a gov that happens to be jewish.

im just trying to figure out why this one tribe of people have become so hated/feared? as i pointed out with racism, it didnt exist in the ancient world, yet seems to start with the slave trade from africa and then the culture of being raised where blacks are inferior, and having that reinforced by keeping them poor and illiterate.

i cant find a good reason for the hatred of jews. they arent that special, just another desert tribe similar to many others, so what makes them special worthy of such animosity?

A lot of religions teach all other religions are evil. I think it goes back to that. After you establish the other guy is evil, it's a small jump to get your congregation to attack.


Really were just breaking out of the dark ages. 100 years ago most of the planet had never seen a light bulb. Now everyone has smart phones. I think people's belief in the infallibility of religion and those interpreting people's religions is declining fast. Most people under say 30 have serious doubts about the historical validity of the anchient texts.


Jews do seem to be mainly hated by Christians and Muslims. Maybe it's how close those religions are to each other that breeds such hate.

OK. I'll tell you why, even though you won't like it. I'm not Jewish. I'm not Christian. I have visited Israel one time (and Egypt and Jordan, among others.) This is why?

1. Jews are smarter than you. It's true, on average. Whether this is genetic or cultural or both doesn't really matter. The fact is they're smarter. How many Nobel prizes have Jews won? How many have Muslims won? Catch my drift?

2. Jews think they have the only true religion. It isn't Gentiles who invented the term "Gentiles." It isn't Gentiles who decreed that a male must be circumcised to be Jewish. They aren't alone in this, of course. Muslims thing they have an exclusive; so do Mormons; so do the Chinese.

3. Jews stick together. When the "disapora" shows up somewhere else, they live together to the exclusion of the host country. They're "insular" and apart from the native populations. This builds resentment because....

4. The Jews do better financially than other people. This is because of the above reasons. If a new Jew migrates to country X, he gets in touch with the established Jewish order and gets an interest free loan from a patriarch to start his business. His business does well, in part to a built-in customer base, but also because he is pretty savvy in the first place and (see number one).

So when the going gets tough the local population looks around for a scapegoat, sees the Jews are doing well, and they covet their stuff. They need someone to blame their troubles on, so they blame the Jews, who have not bothered to integrate into the society as a whole. This is their MAJOR screw-up, and where they fail to "get it" time and time again.

As a result things like the Holocaust happen.

Those are the reasons why. Arguing about it does not change these basic issues. They are not exclusive to Jews, but the Jews present the perfect storm for all these things to come together at once. It's not an accident.

while i disagree with number one, the rest of it seems valid.

i especially like the part about them being insular. the easiest way to get people to distrust/ dislike you is to set yourself apart from them.

I've seen multiple IQ studies that say assionic Jews ( I think that's how it sounds lol) and a certain Asian group have an average IQ of 120 while European/American whites are at 100. While the other races are 80 to 100.... Of course that's averages.

Add to this, that these books tell them about crimes, Gods, bloodlines, all manner of things, and that they are told continuously that they will be hated for being WHO they ARE.

Somehow they believe all of this, and follow the books like everyone else, and the exact things happen as they WERE TOLD,

This HAS to happen so subconsciously all of this garbage goes on, and yet they all believe this MUST HAPPEN.

Yes .. it is possible have seen firsthand muslims and jews living together in peace without butchering each other. ..

As to stopping israels violence .. will never happen as the west turns a blind eye to israels crimes .. finances .. arms and equips them all in the misguided belief its their gods will to end the world. Until that mentality changes nothing will change.

I think the late great Christopher Hitchens expressed it best when he referred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam as the axis of evil. Further saying that they were the main source of hatred in the world. and were "violent, irrational, intolerant, allied to racism, tribalism, and bigotry, invested in ignorance and hostile to free inquiry, contemptuous of women and coercive toward children".

He wasn't wrong.

The Hebrew Bible, the Old Testament, is not the word of God.
The Christian Bible, the New Testament, is not the word of God.
The Islamic Bible, the Koran, is not the word of God.

So if either side wishes to fight over who is right and who is wrong, I can only hope they will destroy one another so we can stop having this conversation.
