She could have had complications that could have killed her and/or the baby but hey who cares right?

For what it's worth in getting some clear facts to this? NBC's local L.A. affiliate is reporting she was not in 'active' labor, was not in evident distress and did not ask for any help or medical attention from law enforcement offiicers in her immediate area.

It sounds like a lot to do about nothing, and the person at the center of it all didn't even ask for help herself.

I figured this might at least help a bit.

A pregnant woman who was prevented from crossing an LA street Wednesday afternoon because the road was closed for President Barack Obama’s motorcade was not in active labor, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the case.

Witnesses said the woman, seen sitting on a bus stop bench on the south side of 3rd Street just east of Robertson Boulevard and across from Cedars Sinai Medical Center, appeared to be in labor. But sources told NBC News Thursday that the woman did not tell officers she was in labor and did not request medical attention.

Obama does plenty to get negative attention for. This doesn't appear to be one of those moments where he earned any.

True, but this was yesterday, and as of this morning, she hasn't had the baby. It was only witnesses who said she was in labor. She didn't say that. No one even knows who she is. She left the scene.

Baby labor can go for days .... but it doesn't matter because
Wrabbits information says the woman wasn't in active labor at the time.
So there was no distress ... there was no medical emergency either.
Seems the cops and secret service did their job fine.
(my apologies to them for saying they didn't have any common sense)
And either way ... Obama didn't have anything to do with it.

Obama is not omnipresentt to see everyone. Its the motorcade and officers doing it not him. Sounds pretty bull.

It's what your thread title is talking about, ie the MAIN part. So naturally it reasons that people will come in and talk about that. That's why I told you, if you wanted to talk about it, you should have created a thread EXPLICITLY about the number of fund raisers he had. Don't make a thread where 60 - 75% of it talks about a non-issue and 25 - 40% talks about a possible issue then cry foul when everyone calls you out on the BS for the 60 - 75% part and doesn't address the rest. What reason do we have to address the other segment of your thread if the main part of it is a bunch of trash?

Why would there be doubt as to it happening? TheBlaze isn't a source I use, and never as a primary on anything..but even they don't fabricate. They just have different concepts of due diligence to fact checking than I consider a minimum for staying professional. Now it is carried not only by the 3 letter BS spreaders, but their local L.A. affiliates where the folks personally know the cops to just call them up and ask them what happened on a first name basis.

I don't doubt it happened....it just sounds like someone saw the mere HINT of a story and made the rest up as it seemed to fit the purpose. Odd thing there...

In terms of your post? If I were here working today (which I'm definitely not. While the rights means of raising funds for campaigning was severely diminished by the LEFTS usage of the IRS to target their political opponents.

The fund raiser in chief was going full speed ahead as per those 393 events to fatten his parties campaign coffers.

And no one has 'debunked anything.

The only thing in this thread so far has been OPINIONS.

Neither party is an individual living, breathing entity that only has one opinion or drive. Both parties contain individual people with different thoughts, feelings, opinions. I'm so sick of the gross level of generalization (on par with racism) that political activists seem to think is perfectly acceptable.

People like the OP do very little beyond obsess over politics... everything, regardless of the topic or purpose of a conversation somehow goes back to politics and how someone is screwing us.

There are plenty of people trying to screw us, and instead of working on solutions, these activists spend most of their time being wholly intolerable as people. For example about a month/two months ago I was reading an article on yahoo about a little kid that fell out of a window that was left open. Scrolling down to the comments 40-60% of them were along the lines of "Must have had libertard parents," or "That Neocon kid deserved it." Are you kidding me?

When did having a strong political opinion also come to mean signing over your humanity, courtesy, decency, respect, humility, or normal every day decorum. It's disgusting.

Long story short this is a troll thread... and I just fed it unfortunately.

Was she in labor? Was she trying to get to the hospital or was she waiting for a bus? Was she even trying to cross the street? I don't think we have a definite answer for any of this.
