HoHoHo HeHeHe HaHaHa

The IRS says a few more computers crashed that may have had some Lois Lerner emails.

And they don't know if the backups are still anywhere to be found.

The "crash count" is climbing and all related to the Lois Lerner "On-Target" caper.

This tape will self destruct in 5 seconds !!!

IRS Deputy Associate Chief Counsel Thomas Kane said in transcribed congressional testimony that more IRS officials experienced computer crashes, bringing the total number of crash victims to “less than 20,” and also said that the agency does not know if the lost emails are still backed up somewhere.

The new round of computer crash victims includes David Fish, who routinely corresponded with Lois Lerner, as well as Lerner subordinate Andy Megosh, Lerner’s technical adviser Justin Lowe, and Cincinnati-based agent Kimberly Kitchens.

What happened? Did they buy a bulk order of Hitachi "death-stars"?

www.cnet.com...

I wonder what the probability is that the disks drives of all seven just happened to have failed? That must be incredible odds.

And once they know, those hard drives will be declared crashed too.

"Umm, can I look at the emails on that computer?"

"Nope, sorry, it actually just crashed."

"Ok, how bout that one?"

"Ahh actually, that one just crashed too..."

"Do you know anything about the IRS targeting conservative political groups?"

"I plead the fifth."

I'm waiting to hear Obama's computer crashed....every single computer in the whole damn white house has crashed, and the DOJ.

What is this, some Three stooges movie....

What a joke.

The word "illegitimate" sounds less like over dramatization every day when used in conjunction with our federal government.

Even if they announced White House computer crashes I would question if they even have computers there.

And then they'd have to prove they understand how to use the damn things

Heck I know their computer system is waaaaaaay better than my 5 yr.old PC, and never once have I had a system crash
**knock on wood** --of course, I do backup & I highly doubt it is going to disappear anytime soon

Like you said, with their money, they have got the best of everything

The whole thing stinks to high heaven!!

If that was one of us, we would be thrown in jail, no questions asked

This is gets funnier and funnier! I have up to 17 computers running at any given time for the last 19 years, storing a total of about 20 terrabytes. I use mediocre data backup practices, initially using tape and discs, but now I use external drives and flash drives for critical data. In that 19 years I have had a few computer crashes (everybody does), lost motherboards, video cards and hard drives.

I HAVE NEVER LOST DATA.

For the IRS to say they have lost data is a lie, they have much better data retention procedures that I. Obviously they give more value to their anally retentive procedures.

The IRS effects millions of people and probably a million or more businesses. There should be a special exception here, she and her accomplices and handlers should be tried for premeditated criminal dereliction, criminal destruction of evidence and perjury, and serve a very long prison sentence in a "hole in the ground" (meaning solitary confinement) along with Obama. Her behavior and that of her cohorts in crime (including Obama) is not acceptable and should be duly punished. Give them a trial first though, with a jury made up of the normal working and non-working American people.

Cheers - Dave

You ain't kidding.

With my recent issues with the IRS over something that is not my fault, this almost infuriates me. Unless something changes, I have no reason to EVER trust the government. I

Exactly....

So why is it that ONLY the info pertinent to the hearing 'disappeared in the supposed crash *cough*

Shame it couldn't have happened, say for records/data of a few thousand people that owe money to the IRS, where their stuff gets 'lost'?

I've heard several people lately talking about how convenient that the IRS's data got lost in a time of peril
But those that owe money to them, well the IRS never seems to lose track of that

We've got 2 tough Judges asking questions now. I don't think they'll keep accepting...*the dog ate my homework* excuse from everyone called in front of them. At some point, a really pissed off Judge is gonna blow a fuse. I hope it's soon.

Ya know, in Obama's twisted way of thinking, when he said that there wasn't a smidgen of corruption in the IRS, he only told a half-lie....he just left the other half off

What he really meant to say was--

"There is not a smidgen of corruption, but rather a whole mountain of corruption the size of the Himalayas"

You said it. One can literally not even wrap their mind around all of the crap that has came out in the past 4 years alone. And nobody even talks about any of it as soon as the NEXT way the Admin and its' cronies have broken the law comes up....
