Hey ATS, Im here to re-hash a thread from back in 2007 that recieved no attention. It has much more relevance these days.

Heres the thread: www.abovetopsecret.com...

or direct to source: www.oldthinkernews.com...

Bruce Stokes, Council on Foreign Relations Senior Fellow, National Journal columnist and Chatham House member told the conference that a true “North American Community” would only be born out of the heat of conflict.

Stokes said, “For those of you, who like me, believe that one of the biggest challenges we face as a society is coming to terms with globalization… then we must embrace the rough spots” like illegal immigration. Stokes stated that we need to “…use these as teaching experiences… to create a public dialogue about the meaning of becoming a true North American Community.”

Stokes continued, “This is how we will create a North American consciousness and a true North American Community. It will be forged in the heat of conflict, not through a rational discussion, as painful as that may be. It really cannot happen any other way.”

What/when will be the straw that breaks the camels back I wonder..

Open borders to Canada would be a start.

I've seen many Canadian posters criticize Americans on their opinions of illegal aliens.

Open up the borders to Canukistan would help.

If Canadia and Mexican't were to join forces, the U.S. would be like a sandwich. Texas would be the hot pepper that neither side wants to eat.

Ha..But us Canukleheads engaging in conflict? I mean, outside of the ice rink?

That seems far fetched but does makes sense.

When the northern border starts making news..

Forget globalization. I am for sovereign countries and control. In the past I may not have thought this but after seeing the last decade of the elites actions and disdain against regular people all I have to say is "No way!"

While globalization sounds great on Star Trek it seems that TPTB cannot be trusted in any way shape or form. They better be ready for a "global" shooting war.

They are going to tear it ALL down!......ingenius!
The monstrous throw of the dice.......the ability to control the various factions may be strained....but it is doable even more so with a heavily militarised police force riding Mraps....and a billion rounds of ammo put by for suppression where nessessary....it just may be really doable.....let it all go to hell and put it back together again sans constitution or bill of rights.....

im for sovereign individuals and communities, and abolish countries and states, and federali's and any other bull*SNIP* divisions are artificially imposed on us.
we can use the internet to manage and administer everything we paid government to try to do. but instead, it would actually get done instead of our taxes going into small groups of narrow minded d*** heads doing whatever their mates want to with peoples currency.

the only person you should trust is yourself, giving my power by proxy to anyone for any reason is a recipe for disaster and tyranny

While this is a global issue it is not insurmountable. The level of firearms in the US in 2014 is 97 per 100 citizens. That's a lot of firepower. Look at countries like Afghanistan where the might of NATO has been hammering the Taliban for over a decade and NATO is still no closer to winning than before.

It's about will, the will to stand against what is wrong. The will to sacrifice all for a belief. That belief might be freedom from an oppressive elite globalist domination.

Over here in the US gun owners outnumber all forces of authority and the military up to 30 to 1. That means we win even if each patriot has only one bullet. If we maintain the courage to fight.

So, at what stage are the Canadian, American and Mexican people going to get a referendum vote in all of this..........said no politician ever.

These think-tank "findings" appear to amount to nothing more than someones opinion. Unfortunately for us, some corrupt politicians with even more power actually take these findings seriously enough to forge policy from them.

"the United States was the greatest obstacle to this process” of integration into a globalized system. She stated that due to this resistance, integration will have to come “from the top-down” through directives from the United States President and his “inner circle.”

That reads like a Nazi manifesto.

Kissinger and Co and their dream of a NWO is becoming more of a reality with each passing day.

Could not be more accurate Bassago! That will is there and they are truly playing with fire, it is their hubris that will be their downfall. Sure they have controlled the last 100 years and guided it to this point, however the gig is up. We will see them make their last ditch efforts and it is going to get a little rocky, but that courage you speak of is in the process of being lit to a level we have not seen since the 60's

They believe they stomped it out with their brutal tactics during occupy wall street. That anger did nothing, but hide for a bit, people have been preparing for a while. The cities will be the easist to control in the sense of limiting movement, it is the millions upon millions of gun owners from small towns that will continue to resist. Your point about the Taliban is 100% correct. Americans are inching ever so close to having nothing left to lose and once that point is reached it will not matter how much entertainment is out there, people will stand together and it will spread like wildfire.

I would venture to say it already has, as they say the revolution will not be televised!

While they are having this guerilla war, who is going to be farming the land to produce food? One crashed plane or drone contaminates an entire field. They would need to maintain the entire agricultural infrastructure; repair barns, tractors, combine harvesters, delivery trucks, water, pay farm workers. Once the farming folks leave, that would an entire county out of action.

The gang's all here !

On June 11, 2002 a conference on North American integration was held by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. The center, which influences policy making in Washington, is funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, The Gates Foundation and George Soros.

Yep.

Only a full throttle high-dose of Progressive-Left Wing-Fascist-Liberal Authoritarian-Totalitarian agendas can make it happen.

Sounds familiar.

Time to prepare.

Time may be short.

The domestic enemy in North America is the cartels. On paper were allies with Mexico and in practice we just buy the cartels off these days by not opposing their expansion into the US in exchange for non violence (it helps that Sinaloa is relatively non violent and owns most of the border... things are worse where the Zeta's have the border). Rescuing Mexico from the cartels by using our military to occupy an ally on our border and defend them is precisely the type of conflict that would be used to create any sort of North American Union.

Bassago, what do you predict will happen when they shut the food and water supply off?

That's hard to say other than it will put the pressure on the resistance and most likely lead to some (many?) deaths on it's own. That said I'm not a logistics specialist and not overly familiar with shipping and transport routes other that the basic freeway and ports systems. I'm sure there are many with a much deeper understanding who would become available. Just the basic long haul trucker would have a great amount of information.

Best guess, a lot of transport trucking and rail is not going to make it to it's destination. Again probably with a lot of casualties but guerrilla warfare techniques would most likely ramp up fairly quickly.

This is just my opinion and based on what we've seen in conflicts globally now and in the past. Also there may be external support available as globally it seems that no matter where there is a war outsiders are always involved.

I used to think it would be smart, to unite all of North America.
I still do, in many ways.

I wonder if Mexico and Canada would aid us in the event of an attack on our soil (again)....if things stay the way they are...
but if we were all to work together (PULLING together toward a common goal, rather than being PUSHED together by a common threat) -
it would improve the lot of MANY people - and we could rebuild this continent, make us self-sufficient, and then we could just "bow out" of the world politics altogether. (I admire Canada a great deal, and LOVE Mexico and her people).

People don't understand how awful it is in many parts of Mexico - how poverty-stricken, hungry, and destitute the people in the ranchitos are. They come here to get away from their dire straits.
If we worked together to ensure that everyone is fed, sheltered, received health care and is protected it would be great.

But honestly - what I'm thinking now is that a break-up of the U.S. is more likely. States seceding from the union. There've been studies that show how it would be divided up.

IDK. Whatever.
