The conference in the video was held in 2013, it had about 4000 "common Sunni Muslim" attendees.

People can say this is "not representative" of all Muslims, but that is exactly the opposite of what the speakers on the day and the makers of the video say.

I think it is very telling that certain ATS members will come on this thread and totally contradict the intentions of the Muslim makers of this video(who BTW want you and I to know that this is how the majority of Muslims feel), whilst they think they are defending Islam or Muslims or whatever. I say to you that even the Muslims involved in the making of this video will tell you that you are fools, and they would be right.

Saba was born in Pakistan and moved to Portland Oregon at age 12. She has numerous academic degrees and a particular interest in protecting the Islamic Ummah from America’s “useless wars.” She feels so passionately about this that while in Portland, she became very active in Democrat politics for years, even making an unsuccessful bid for congress in 2012. As a candidate, her priority was to bring home all American troops and cut military spending. “There is no need for them to be in foreign countries”… “Drone attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan are hurting our long term national security and will come back to haunt us.”

After obtaining less than ½ percent of the vote, Saba switched her registration to Republican. But her ideology hadn’t changed. She marched in Occupy Portland, which had a large anti-Israel component, and was a featured speaker. She argued that the Muslim world hates America and therefore America should change her policies. She explained that Muslims in foreign countries are suffering as a result of U.S. policies and don’t have a voice. “We are their voice here in the United States”, she proclaimed."

Amazing how the thread was about good people doing nothing to stop radicals. It does not matter if the good people are of any faith what matters is when radicals of any faith take over the silent majority remain silent. All that has to happen in order for evil to prevail is for good to do nothing..

The dark ages were when the Catholic church tried to control everything down to basic thought sucked until their ideas we scorned and disregarded.... the so called western world was to busy looking over their shoulders for the inquisitors and wondering how many angels could dance on the head of a pin to worry about such basic things as sanitation and knowing anything about the world or universe that was outside what was written and interpreted by the church.

Many of the so called moderate Muslims will lose their heads right along with anyone else who does not bow down to the radicals bran of faith. It is going on as this is being typed.

There is a religious war going on between Iran's brand of Islam and the Saudi version. With seventy percent of the Arab world being under 30, coupled with all the sexual repression, it will be no wonder if the areas that are presently drawn on the maps will need a serious re-drawing in the not to distant future. Who will win this war and how the victors will decimate their enemies is yet to be written or seen. Either way it will not be something any religion should glory in.

Folks it does not matter how many radicals there are if the majority does not condemn them.. No different than good cops who turn a blind eye to wrong doing by their fellow officers. No different; it just allows the evil to grow and metastasize until one day the silent majority has no other option than to follow or be ostracized.... maybe even put to death.

She had zero proof to back up her claims. I do no believe that 15-25% of them are radicals. I watched that video and in my opinion she is an idiot. Her only proof was that she said they have done studies on this.....

Because if there were the 100+ million terrorist type Muslims. We would be constantly under terrorist attack. That would be the largest standing army in world history. They could have squashed isreal in a day. The US doesn't even have a million soldiers......
