Are atheists the pawns of Satan?

Satan already has the Atheists, because they are unfortunately doomed to an eternity in hell because of their unbelief in the LORD Jesus Christ.

THIS is why most atheists don't bother even having a discussion with religious people...

What an inhuman, cold, heartless and downright nasty thing to say...

So a hardworking atheist who not only loves his wife and children with all his heart, and shows love and kindness to strangers... is DOOMED TO AN ETERNITY IN HELL because of some technicality like not believing in the easter bunny? Wow... just Wow...

Either you love God, or you are a heathen. Therefore, are atheists just trying to live their lives, or are they the spawn of Satan?

If there was a god actively reigning over this world, I wouldn't try to destroy it. I would seek to bring it down to our level, reincarnating again and again as a mortal human, and keep it in such a position. Forever. Unless it decided to move on, in which case, its inheritor would take its place in the cycle. Such would be the fate of all gods in this world.

I think we might have a failure to communicate. If a certain God decides to wipe out the Amalakites, then at the very least he has a PR problem.

I understand what your saying.. What I'm saying is that between the two teachings regardless of the label given there is a connection to evil desire and actions. The Jews may not call it Satan or believe in Hell but the idea is still there.. It is based around the same thing except as you said, Christianity has added some Mythology to scare the crap out of people or something.

Only it's not "basically the same thing" . . .

When they talk about "satan" it is an illusionary concept representing human emotion and inclination.

When they talk about "satan always being inferior than God" . . . they mean humans are inferior and without God's permission humans cannot stray from righteousness. You know . . . that whole "God gives us free will" thing.

Atheists would not worry about being "DOOMED TO AN ETERNITY OF HELL" 'cos they don't believe in a hell. Why do you see it as a heartless and nasty thing to say to someone if they have absolutely no belief in an eternal doom? Truth hurts, but it saves.

The truth for us believers are that there is an eternal "hell" for ANY non believer. This includes anyone who doesn't believe in Christ as our Savior, not just atheists. But, main point, it shouldn't worry an atheist, as they don't believe in a hell. So, I am lost with your comment. (I really do hope it makes them think and worry about it though! For them to be saved. I know atheists whom are beautiful people, but, I do fear for their souls. That is why I hope they find God. I don't want beautiful souls lost because I didn't try to do something)

On the other hand: Going to hell counts for some "believers" who do believe in Christ. People can have all the faith in Jesus as their Savior, but if they have no love for their brother and sister in Christ, their faith alone won't save them. Even demons know of Jesus. Some people truly believe they are Christians, yet they are not aware that they are tares because they are spiritually blind. Tares are sitting in church, running churches, but they are corrupting The Word and The Body of Christ. Even if one believes in Jesus but one does not walk the narrow way (of obedience of The Holy Spirit) he will end up where the non believer will. Satan plays them like a puppet.

I will say that some Christians lay it out straight. No soft words, but the truth. We want our brothers and sisters saved. We truly do. That is all we want. But majority of non believers, will not understand, or have no interest in what we are trying to do. I am not talking about OTT religious groups, like Westboro, but really good Christians.

Thing is, out of 100 people, 1 will read The Bible and 99 will read the Christian.
