As always our government is giving us the doctored version of the story making it seem worse than it is to vilify Russia. If ethnic cleansing were truly occurring there then World Cop America would be running to play hero.

Heres a queationwhy are georgian rebels in slovyansk did they join with ukrainians to stop the Russian advance? Oh and by the way takes a lomg time for shell casings to corrode like that not weeks.Why not verify the location and get back to us this is about ethnic cleansing in Ukraine and not georgia. That isnt shelling thats rocket damage looks like the balcony of the one apartment was hit. This was probably done because of snipers. Ukraine has said separatists are taking over apartments and using them as sniper posts. Now thats speculation but no doubt that apartment was targeted by either jet or RPGs. Had it been a shell from artillery the entire side of the building would be gone. Unfortunate the video isnt much help proving your case. That building could have easily been destroyed Ukraine has the firepower that was a surgical strike in an attempt to limit casualties.

Kiev has signed association agreement with EU today. Congratulation.

Clement Towsend is clueless on trade matters every country on the planet when they lower trade barriers require you to meet there standars on things like food safety. Even russia does this without an agreement you end up with crimea where Russia banned food imports from ukraine because there is no way to verify inspections. As a member of the EU a country must meet product safety requirements and security as well. The person who wrote this knows nothing about commerce. This deal for Ukraine avoids all tariffs and restrictions meaning selling anywhere in europe is no diffrent than selling in Ukraine and is worth billions to Ukraine. Has nothing to do with banking other than setting up credit lines for money transfers from ukraime to other countries. This is nothong butMoscow trying to scare people.

That's a nice story, except that history has always proven that FTAs are just a formal way for empires to economically colonize smaller allies. It's hilarious that Ukrainian ultranationalists took over Ukraine's government and are now committing Ukraine's public sector to be handed to their new economic partners.

Seems rather counterintuitive, don't you think? It's almost as if Kiev's ruling class is a bunch of billionaires who have employed a radical ideology to achieve populist support so that they could get richer in the end... Oh wait, several governors and the new president are billionaires!

The UN report based those numbers off Russian claims she has every right to be sceptical. In the UN report the only numbers they could confirm was 9,500 people have officially applied for the asylum in Russia and 700 others have gone to Poland, Belarus, the Czech Republic and Romania. Russia claims in their numbers people are unwilling to apply do to fear. When this news conference came out she obviously knew nothing about it or she would have pointed out those were Russian statistics.The reason the state department is sceptical is simple they havnt seen a mass exodus into Russia trust me there watching the border closely. The number the UNHCR claims as displaced is currently estimated at 54,400 with 12,000 being from Crimea and the rest from the Eastern region. Little surprise many Ukrainians are going to stay with relatives while battles are going on in the streets now i would. Crimea is another matter entirely that is simply Tartars fleeing because of intimidation and threats on their community.

No i act like they have been caught in so many lies at this point id have a hard time if putin said water is wet. Putin and his continual lying blew any credibility he had on the world stage. Ironically you could have called me a supporter in the past he made sense than he just lost touch with reality. Im guessing alzheimer's hes behavior has been erratic hes constantly changing his mind and even at first i couldnt figure out why him and Lavrov couldnt seem to agree. Yes he is a liar started when Putin said there was no Russian troops in Crimea only later to admit he lied. Now back to the thread im still waiting for that ethnic cleansing claimed by the op.

a couple of videos I found interesting as they represent what kind of people is fighting against people of Novorossiya.

The first video was made in Mariupol by NazGuard heros. They have kidnapped a 16 years old boy who is a well known
internet streamer making videos of fights in Mariupol and posting them on youtube. His main sin? He supports
Novorossiya. In this clip you can see how these thugs force him to say 'Glory to Ukraine', 'Glory to heros'.
Seriously? To make a video of intimidating a 16 years old kid and post it on the net?



We knew that nationalists and russophobs are a majority of volunteers fighting in NazGuard forces and now we know that a real life criminals are taking a part in fights as well. These people are fighting for their amnesty.
Not for Junta, not for Ukraine. For amnesty.
I read about these cases before, criminals being enlisted to fight as a members of NazGuard forces and to receive amnesty later.

After watching these 2 videos I wonder who in their right mind would like to live in a country like this?
