Wow that's something. But June 8tb is not June 7th.
And I can think of a few events from last year that were more momentous than Ison.

if it was doom prediction i think more people would have seen or felt something. I think it's more along the lines of somewhere in the world, something good will happen and it will affect the rest of humanity. But we won't know for atleast three months

OP's time of June 7 2014 4:59 pm ET is June 8 2014 already in East Asian countries. Japan would be in June 8 2014 8:00 am when OP's time arrives.

Also, an asteroid measuring 300 meters will flyby near Earth on June 8 2014!! Coincidence? The signs are getting synchronized and more clear!
