(I'm sure she's excited.(rolling her eyes.))

Anyway I was wondering if any members have seen the movie and their opinion.

Thanks.

It is a good movie IMO, but hard to go wrong when you have godzilla fighting other monsters.
And the way they tie it into past events is cool too.

Thanks.

The reviews look mostly positive but it's better to ask real people.

I seen it a week ago and really enjoyed it and can't wait for it to come out in Blue Ray.
Though on a side note, to me his feet didn't look quite right anybody else notice? Or maybe it's just me.

Well they look like elephant feet to me which I guess makes sense?
But I do see what you are getting at, maybe wanted longer extended toes/talons?

That's what I was thinking about the elephant feet. I just might be used to the B/W Godzilla's.

On the surface 'Godzilla' is a very interesting movie with a very high production value.

It is co-written and produced by the Pentagon who supplied the billions of dollars worth of war material used in the film.

If you are informed about the reality of Fukushima you will notice the constant comparisons.

'Godzilla' is propaganda designed to subtly assure us that there is no need to worry about the three reactors that have been melting down on the coast of Japan for the last three years, because GODzilla is on our side.

It is the most evilly intended movie in the history of motion pictures.

You'll love it.

LOL. Oh, yeah and the two tiny girls that woke Mothra. I know this is gonna sound corny but loved the first (b&w) movie and was sad that they had to kill him with bomb that dissolved him.

This movie felt like a prequel... like the introduction of the main character "coming soon" in part two...

Guess it's true, the character with the least screentime, really is the baddest.

I actually saw it at the drive in

All in all, it was a great tribute to the old movies, but they shoehorned a love/family story into it instead of spending more time on the Godzilla/Monster fight scenes.

If there is a sequel, I hope they'd bring back a classic like Rodan, Gamera or Mothra
