The Shed 2

Standing with her hands on her hips, the elf sighs, then boldly moves down the hall to the dragon. Her companions looked on in shock then followed after her, hoping they would all return with their lives.

The huge beast did not seem alarmed, nor did he breathe fire. Elves and dragons go way back, some getting along wonderfully and others not. It was always a chance an elf had to take when approaching such powerful creatures. The dragon tilted its head in curiosity and waited. "I know dragons love their treasure and all, but the treasure that you take is stolen. Didn't your Momma ever teach you to share?" The dragon had never heard of such a thing. Night Star continued. "It's nice to have such wondrous things, but in such huge amounts it equals greed." Again, the dragon had never heard of such a thing and wondered at the concepts. No one had ever made him ponder deeply or stand so boldly against him in challenge without a weapon raised against him. She was lucky to have remembered the ancient language of the dragons so she could freely communicate with him.

Suddenly the hall filled with a hearty dragon laugh. "You are a most curious creature little elf. For your bravery and philosophy, I applaud you and shall reward you with what you came to seek. I shall allow you to continue your search." The others were stunned at the sudden turn around in the dragon's attitude. He bowed his head in respect, turned and walked away into the farthest depths of the cave.

Gordy, a Hearty Thank You for finding and posting a captured image of Eminence!!! He's a perfect fit for This Story. And I love the way You overlayed His name on the pic!!!Great Job Bud!!!

I did some googleing for a name in the purple color spectrum, and Eminence was the coolest I found, so went with that for The Mighty Dragon's name!

He seemed a bit standoffish to us at first, what with the fire breathing and all!. Had us worried a bit there for a few minutes!!!

Just watched an AMAZING game of footie!! (soccer)
Action from 1st kick to final whistle.
No quarter asked, none given.
Blood and thunder all the way, and some great skills too!!!
Capacity crowd, singing at the top of their voices for 90minutes.
GREAT goal, and SCOTLAND WON!! (Gets them back into contention in their qualifying group for the 2016 Euro Championships)

I'm feeling fine!
Family is good, visited mum earlier and she's already had her dressing taken off (from the surgery) because she is healing so well. Great news.
I have a free weekend, apart from a possible band rehearsal on Sunday.
It's all good.
