Well, I know I will never go through a mid-life crisis as I have never let go of my inner child. But the hot flashes can be a mother. I've heard that this is really not that uncommon either though.

Thankfully, for us guys, it usually only interrupts our sleep, it doesn't appear spontaneously throughout the day like it does with women.

That would be a pain. My sympathies ladies.

I have been buying Christmas gifts year round to put away. I was just sorting through to see what I bought for who and trying to decide how to package things and make them look awesome. Like I just bought wine glasses with a snowflake pattern on them. I will be putting a white silk pointsetter flower with silver in the center of the flower around the stem with a sparkly red velvet sparkly ribbon. I will get a bottle of wine to put in between the glasses with a pretty ribbon and jingle bells. Now I think I need to find a box for that or basket perhaps.

The snowflake wine glasses were only a dollar each! I bought a spray of the silk flowerers that holds a bunch of the flowers that I can cut individual flowers from for only a dollar. Bought this adorable stuffed monkey with Velcro on the feet and hands and if you press a certain area it makes monkey sounds for only four dollars. I'm not normally into monkeys but this had the cutest face. Got a lead crystal perfume bottle for really cheap, and other goodies for my nieces birthday coming up in December.

For people that have just about everything and are hard to buy for, I get gift certificates for restaurants or whatever.

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. Dang thats gotta be bad to make you cry. What are you taking for the pain? Does it help to soak in the tub?

Just came upstairs to take a break from the christmas mess I have down stairs. Took me three days to unpack it all, now I have to pack most of it up because it's not going to work in this home. Ha Ha I just wanna go buy new stuff. (the kids just looked at it all and shook there heads)

Then this morning my vacum cleaner took a dump on me. And its a new one. It's only the belt, but what a bitc... to change. My house is a disaster.

I have a pain med that helps but it only does so much. I can usually suffer through most days but other days when I'm trying to do things or help Mom, OW!!!!!!!!! I have spinal stenosis and other spinal problems and in the past was hit as a pedestrian by a mini van. I haven't been the same since. So, it's a combination of things that cause it.

Yeah, I still have Christmas stuff to sort through too. LOL

Yeah hot flashes suck then when you get over that, you end up on a med or two that causes flushing. Like what the hell, I can't win. LOL

It's starting to snow here. They are predicting 4 in. We shall see.

Christmas is in the air. And it's getting closer to Ice fishing time. I am soooo excited. My first winter in the North woods.

God, I just pray, I don't hit a deer.

Awwwwww, thank you so much! Much appreciated. Today was just an especially bad day for me and also the closer I come to doctors appointments, the more overwhelmed and scared and bitchy I get. LOL

The fish are hearing this about now. Hint: Don't dance to much on the ice so you don't break through.



And the deer in Wisconsin are part and parcel of the landscape. If one runs out in front of you while driving...hit it. Don't swerve, that kills more people than hitting them does.

Yes that is what I have been told for years.

In Illinios we also had alot of deer. So I am used to keeping an eye out for them.

But, here I am getting used to the roads, and where they hang out. New things every day.

I went to my local Dollar General today and was disappointed. Yes, that store has pretty much everything you need regarding holidays, but I was looking for some funnels so I can...can. Food that is.

I find that it is getting harder to find canning stuff more and more these days.

Funnels used to be easy to find. I guess I'll just have to go to the local gas station and take their free paper funnels. Those work quite handy, but you end up going through a lot.

Would you want to be bonded with a great dragon?

Tears started running down my cheeks. I could not believe how damn lucky I was. In my mind it was like a dam bursting as I realized that I wanted this with every tiny part of who I was. I said, “Lerinth, do it please, I want love and cuddles again, I want this, I want you and the love you offer. Join us now … please!

“It was like our minds just flowed together. I became a part of her mind and she became a part of mine. Every little thing I had ever done wrong, every little lie, every little childish deception was there in plain view. She just smiled at them and then put them aside. I now knew how she saw me and she had not lied, not in the tiniest bit. Her love did not engulf me, it became a part of me.

I reached out, finally able to fully trust her and with that mental admission I flowed into her. My love for her was released and I felt it infuse her mind. She shuddered in relief and pleasure.

I saw her real fear that I would refuse the bonding just evaporate. She, Lerinth, Silver Great Dragon, had actually been really scared that I would not choose her.

For the first time in a very long time I felt that I was home, that I was loved and cared for by someone that knew me intimately. The merger became deeper. Together we celebrated my parents and the love they had had for me.
When it was completed we were as one, together at last and with the merger, a new exciting and loving beginning where we would face the future together. We had a bond where only death could part us.
