This is a short clip but a very agonizing and scary 20 seconds for the truck driver when hit with high winds

Kudos to the man for maintaining control over the big rig!!!

Wow...what a ride
Now time to go change his shorts!!

Driver manages to pull semi from brink of disaster in high winds

A truck driver from Alabama manages to prevent his big rig from overturning during high winds recently on a highway just south of Hays.

The man was driving for KCK-based Butler Transport.

Truckers who have watched the video say the man's skill, the western Kansas sand grabbing the rig's tires and perhaps pure luck helped save the day. A motorist traveling behind the rig captured the heart-pounding video. A local truck driving instructor said this is not something you really can teach.

Jeff Steinberg, owner and instructor at APEX CDL Institute, said the driver of the semi did an outstanding job in keeping the rig from rolling over. "That driver deserves a medal," Steinberg said. "That was a great driving maneuver there."

Crazy stuff op ...There is a place in Newfoundland Canada that is prone to very high winds that can blow over trains and trucks . They have a warning system to stop the traffic when it gets too wild ...
