I think it's beautiful. I hope they carefully remove it and preserve it. There are collectors who would get in a bidding war on that piece at auction.

Agree, although how long do hornet's nests keep before they fall apart? A very nice found art piece for sure.

Varnish it with urethane or epoxy. It will last longer than either of us, if handled properly.

When i poured a beer into a glass the other day, the foam rested in the shape of of the classic yellow smiley face it made me smile too, my beer was happy! ...and i had a good evening, how did the beer know?!

Is there anything beer doesn't fix? (besides alcoholics)

Really though, that's horrifying. I'm already terrified of flying, stinging insects. Just looking at pictures of them gives me anxiety. D:
