My take on Bundy Ranch and our response to it

Here in ATS are many that believe there is a group that push a hidden agenda to impose a new world order, it is said they are willing to do anything and sacrifice anyone to achieve this goal.

Now there is this Bundy ranch standoff and it appears people here start suggesting the feds should be dealt with by snipers.

The problem for the Fed is not the heavily organized resistance, it is the small group, with years of hunting or military skills under their belts, firing high powered hunting rifles. If every owner of these weapons shoots one fed per day, from cover, it will be over very quickly.

Well are you people mad? It would seem someone that say this is working for the new world order, this is the only thing that would accomplish something like this.

I wonder how would had go WWII if US would had enter to the war without Pearl Harbor, would America be the unified machine of revenge it was, or would it be divided by people asking why their sons were dying in a god forsaken jungle?. An action as what is suggested in the quote would just be another Pearl Harbor to gather support over the government. Nothing is more disgusting than a lone gunman killing while hiding, that would not bring support to you, just to your victims.

You know how it looks like that suggestion? This:

If you can’t take any more the government and you want to start the revolution you should not play with other people life anonymously over the internet, risk the only thing you got, your own life by doing what other people have done before:




Violence only bring more violence, killing a fed would justify any action taken by the gov. the one that fire the first shot in this will be seen as the aggressor and the other side as the victim regardless of what is right or wrong. If you complain that the government oppression is too high and you cannot live anymore under it, killing people is not the way to go, if what you say it’s true, up there are two examples of people that truly believe those words.

I understand the one that say what is in the quote may be just saying the fed may lose in a confrontation and not suggesting what to do, but nonetheless no one here should think attacking the government is the way to go.

The government needs to be shown they are wrong, firing back at them is not the way.

Just my rant on the matter anyways, its just sad for me to have to recur to violence for anything.

Well said, many of the major events during the "Arab Spring" that ended governments started from selfless acts like self immolation.

Americans don't have the guts, they talk the talk, but won't walk the walk...

Actually I should be more specific, American ATS members like to talk big, but deep down their sub conscience is saying: "hey the government does suck, but not so much that I'm willing to risk my high speed broadband, comfy bed, full fridge and big GMC truck out the front", so I'll just talk it up on the net where other like minded individuals will talk it up and do nothing.

Haha you will eat those words.. every last one of them. The hatred from the people to the feds is getting more and more strong, especially in red states. It literally is a matter of time, the fuse keeps getting cut closer and closer to the powder. Pretty soon it will be so short we won't even know it has been lit before it explodes.

I would not recommend anyone to go set himself on fire over the capitol either, one individual would be called unstable right away and discredit, it has happened before.

But protect the cows, don't return fire and don't justify the action of the government would be the call people should be doing.
