They forget the part where the cat lays down on any convenient chair, squirms in behind you and immediately begins to push by stretching out its legs.

My big ragdoll is going that right now. I have about an inch of computer chair left underneath my butt.

And if the light is low or you are groggy, god help you accidentally sit on it because there is no faster method to a whole bunch of slow leaks to the rump

Nah, not from him. We're his third owners, and the first one decided to mutilate the poor guy by declawing him on all four.

Shhh! Don't tell Sir Teddy the Bear any of that. We're working hard to keep him in his place. He is truly massive and might become abusive if he takes that attitude with us.

Without his claws his only defense is CATITUDE! And they excel at that

Okay that was bloody hilarious !

Cat owners everywhere will be nodding their heads with a resounding "Yes!" in full understanding of these kitty maneuvers...

Just e-mailed the link to hubby, this will have him rolling on the floor.... He misses his little two-thumbed "princess" being up north working these past 4 weeks:

Oh she's cute!

Our friend had one like her. He used to be a research kitty. The company socialized all their test cats and dogs so that after their stint as research animals were finished (limited to half a year or so, so they'd be young animals), they could be adopted out. His name was Malech, and he had the opposable thumbs. Everyone called him Mao-Mao the Mutant-Kitty.

Cranial she's adorable. She reminds me of one of my dearly departed, who had 7 toes on the back paws and 6 toes on the front. He would actually sit up on his back legs and throw punches with me, it was hysterical. God I miss that cat!
