So, I recently downloaded some new photo apps for my iPad and tested them out on a supercell storm behind my house- these are the pics I got using KitCamera-
*I cropped some of them, but other than that, these are the original UNEDITED images*

technology + nature = awesomesauce

Neat photos. There really are some amazing apps out there for iPhone & iPad-ography.

BTW, these aren't "raw" images, they're unedited. "RAW" or "raw" is an image format type, AKA digital negatives.

For those who are interested:RAW Files Explained.

S&F though for the great shots.

I'm impressed. Nice photos. I love seeing the power of natural forces at work........as long as I'm not TOO close.

BTW, do you live opposite the Addams Family or does that impressive house belong to you?!!

I was going to say that your neighbor should get a kick out of those photos....but it's YOUR house?! VERY cool. I LOVE that house.

Those are some nice shots. I have an expensive digital camera, and yeah...it's REALLY tough to get a good picture of lightening. That was a NICE looking storm cell!

Thanks for sharing! (the rainbow is cool too!)

Great shots!! So does the app allow the camera to sense the light and take the shot automatically? I have a nice D40 and timing shots like this are pretty tricky. Kudos to you.

Frame straight, and may your focus be true.

I used the high-speed continuous feature in the KitCamera app- here's a good synopsis and review about it:

You did a wonderful job capturing the essence of a storm! Technology sure can be wonderful sometimes. Can I ask which app you used?
