Okay so I was just browsing about for some more info on Polands reaction to Russians in the Ukraine and I bumped into the following article on the front page of Inforwars.

The headline is "Report: Poland Calls Up Army Reserves: “The World Stands On the Brink of Conflict”. Just thought I would toss a bit of the article in here for fun and see what you all thought about it. It is actually Infowars, citing Before it's News, citing Glen Beck... To darn funny. If Alex Jones had a shred of credibility left with anyone I hope this kinda puts the nail in his loud mouthed coffin.

As cited by Before It’s News Glenn Beck reports that Vladimir Putin is now preparing his forces for an assault on other former Russian satellite countries as well. Anybody who is in a former Soviet state sees the writing on the wall, that Putin can go in and do whatever he wants and nobody can stop him. What happened two weeks ago with Russia, Putin on Monday said ‘I’m not going to annex Crimea. We’re just going in to help them keep the peace.’ By Friday, four days later, he signed the annexation. He could tell the world didn’t care, so much so, that he just signed it.

Here is a link Link to Story the snippet above is about halfway down.

When ATS puts everythingfrom BIN in the hoax bin to start I think this gem is worth getting a good laugh out of. Hope you enjoyed it.

I was listening to the Corbett Report earlier and they were reporting on a story from a tabloid . Even the tabloids can report on stories that the MSM wont touch but not because they are not true .I guess not wanting to throw the baby out with the bathwater comes to mind sometimes ...Even trying to figure out some of the propaganda at times is hard to get my mind around ....peace

Ever hear the saying, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut."?

AJ uses a lot of other sources for his stories too. So to bash infowars over using a source that has a less than desirable reputation than let's say.................CNN??? (I did that on purpose!
) how is that much different than say the novel Fahrenheit 451?

We ain't far from it!!! So be careful what you wish for.......

It has taken me quite a while to be able to listen to small amounts of him and I am some glad they have other people there .The stories seem to be fairly accurate for the most part but he gets a wee bit too worked up for me ..:>)

I'll admit to perusing BIN for the latest "Earth-Shattering Kaboom" stories of the week (aka doom porn) because I like the entertainment value. However, I have noticed that BIN is prone to picking out posts from otherwise credible sites and either just using them or twisting them. For example, PJ Media had a satire post about Obama as Anti-Christ several months ago, and yes, it was a joke that made use of all the favorite themes - birther, Obama as Muslim, Obama as anti-Christ. Well, BIN picked up the piece and linked to it running it as a straight article intended seriously.

I've seen occasional links from other sites that I peruse like the occasional ZeroHedge.

I think the lesson here is that the Internet is an incredibly incestuous place, and what use one gets out of a piece of information all goes into the spin one puts on it.

CIA Origin of Before it Was News?? --Is it the modern day National Enquirer ???

Disinformation and psychological warfare at it's best.
Understanding Media Deceptions

not generally known was that the National Enquirer was created and controlled by known CIA assets whose covert assignment was to discredit news stories. Gene Pope bought the New York Enquirer in 1952, and relaunched it as The National Enquirer in 1954.
Pope was listed in his Who’s Who biography as being a former CIA intelligence officer and being involved in “psychological warfare.”

the National Enquirer was a great success. It succeeded so well that influential individuals became unwitting allies to the covert psychological program
