It's something to see, with all the simmering or running downright hot right now around the world. Just before this, China was the ones we were pissed off at. Recall all that new Security Zone stuff? Now that Russia angered us more recently and more severely, China is back on the 'decent' list for high profile happy face trips (goodwill, as another term).

It must be nice to have the Rank of a lifelong professional, the access of Royalty and the resources of someone with a money printer across town (literally in this case). Where do we mortal folk seek such a life? After all, her rank, while real, is ceremonial in function and she couldn't even agree to change garden designs in an international way.

Aren't we cutting people's pay and benefits while explaining 'tough choices' by the fed in headlines ....while she's off gallivanting around Asia?

There has been very little done to ensure that new laws instituted follow the constitution. The judicial system does not provide any particular method for review of new laws.

Hmmm...i think it's more about sucking up to the Chinese and asking them ever-so-nicely not to dump the petro-dollar after China has made a stupendous deal with the Russian Federation recently, rather than education or any other topic.

Personally, i don't think her usual style of looking like an aggressive, tooth baring nut is gonna cut it...China loves a bit of petrochemical dealery..shirty American Woman with an over-inflated sense of entitlement?
