The myth that America has the best defended airspace in the world is just that, a myth. I hear that same lie in every 9/11 truther video, and it's nonsense. We have almost no air defense capability. No missile batteries on the coasts, no CAP sorties, no real protection at all.

Aircraft ID is essentially voluntary, so anyone hell bent on causing mayhem still has a pretty big time window once they are discovered.

We have more armed fighter jets on standby than before 9/11, but they would need to pick out one plane out of hundreds already in the sky, and without a transponder that's no easy task.


If terrorists took that plane and landed it in Iran, we will see it again.

Is that a normal flight crew in Malaysia?

Seems a little male heavy since there are only 3 crewmembers in the cockpit.

If the cabin crew was involved as well as a member of the flight crew it could explain a few things.

I could ask a friend who is a flight attendant later but right now my best guess is that since it's an Islamic country, I think they have more male crews to cater to the 'strict' Muslim passengers who don't want any contact with females...just a guess.

I'm ex-cabin crew and used to work for Gulf Air and was based in Bahrain. We didn't have more men than women per flight and I never came across any'strict' muslim passengers who minded contact with females.

Many believe in my country, also me... that this never happened. The aircraft never left and they create the accident information for a reason.

Its fake, a fake incident and information, that they try to seed into your brain. Fake accidents happen all the time.

We have claims, that cell phones working, people are still online on facebook...

We have the accident happening into the snakes hole... Also many militia groups claiming "we did it" but without information, how they did it, or where the aircraft is. Also we have cheap excuses from their authorities, that they cant detect, who sends this messages.

At the same time we have another paradox fact, to consider. The black box, is designed to survive ANY kind of accidents and also transmit a signal for 30 days, be able to detect it.

And we have 5 countries, trying to find the airplane... are u kidding me?

People, dont believe their craps, dont let the snakes drain your energy... be happy. And dont let them manipulate u. I am even laughing with the area the picked for the "accident". It is called Malaka... you know what malaka means in my country? They think we are malaka (?)...

Not trying to be sexist, but we aren't talking about the western world here, we're talking about a very different place when it comes to gender roles.

I'm a male RN, and I was offered a one year posting to a hospital in Kuwait, until they realized I was a man, then the offer was rescinded.

A damn shame, it was really good money.

20 people on the flight work for Freescale semiconductor which specialises in millitary electronics and systems. They also contract to the defence dept.
Could it be that a certain country doesn't want this technology passed onto other countries.
Would it be possible for said country to have the expertise, personnel and funds to disappear an aircraft ?

Not totally related but AIS seems very sketchy in areas of the search. Ie lots of traffic around the search areas and shipping lanes but nothing really in the search areas ?

But the eyewitness accounts are consistent, so I think it's safe to say the flight existed.

Elaborating on the personal problems, the official said there may be passengers on the flight who has bought huge sums of insurance or owed a lot of money.

So a theory is that the plane was targeted because certain people took out Life Insurance!!!...

Or OWED MONEY?!!???!!!..... TO WHO EXACTLY???

Ok let's say they did "owe" money...
How powerful was "the lender"???
That they could take out a plane with 239 people aboard???

If it's on their list of theories they must have hypothesised such things!!!

Not saying the flight didn't exist. Some sort of false incident on the aircraft, O2 masks drop, something other than 02 in the masks, night night passengers, land aircraft somewhere obsolete and dispose of the evidence.
With enough hardware a plane could be stripped and disposed of/buried/ crushed in no time.
No more (possible) stealth/ cloaking technology for china and a certain country stays on top for a bit longer

Hasn't the US jus built a massive airbase in northern Australia. Would the aircraft have the range to reach this base. Circumnavigating the populated areas by flying low westwards then south towards Australia ? Or does the us have any other airbases in the area ie Christmas Island ?

It was never an issue and I'd never even considered it until I saw the question posted here. There were quite a few male cabin crew that were local to Bahrain but the females were British, German, French, Indian and Egyptian. I'm going back over 20 years though and, as we know, the country has changed a lot since then! I loved it there, never felt threatened, never felt inferior as a female, there was a large ex-pat community (non Gulf Air)... it was a great life. It's sad to see what's become of Bahrain. It's a shame you didn't get to work in Kuwait but Bahrain was a lot more 'westernised' even in the early 1990s... Desert Shield time. Alcohol was permitted and served in bars and hotels.

No doubt Nyiah... As soon as I see that particular statement I was immediately interested in such a possibility!

I'm sure the Triads have plenty of pull...
As infamous they are for debt owed...
As notoriously dangerous they can be...
They are equally honourable in a proper Chinese traditional sense!!!

To target a 239 people for the sake of a couple of people who owed them money is quite a leap...
Unless maybe Government officials owe the debt & a large scale attack seemed fitting to send a message!

I may have opened a can of conjectural worms here to be honest!

With all due respect, nobody said "dead"!!!

Could easily be a hostage situation...

It was theorised early in the thread that the Plane may have been landed at a top secret Chinese Military Base, where negotiations could be currently under way, while everyone else (Public, Media, & other Nations) is kept in the dark!

Already mentioned earlier in the thread, but it's the dailymail, and it's faked so poorly nobody thought they were trying to fool anybody....it's probably a layout issue; the photos were different sizes so they did that to make them more comparable. Still it seems like a stupid thing to do but from dailymail it's not that surprising.

Now lost among the 80+ pages of probably the fastest moving thread of the year so far!!!


However no one, as far as I know, has asked how they know that these two gentlemen are "Iranian" if they cannot contact them and the passports were fake!

This was a probably the only politically motivated announcement so far...

I pray not only for passenger safety... but also nothing political to come from this story!
