NEWS: Iran Says Will Retaliate if Nuclear Plants Hit

An Iranian commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad-Baqer Zolqadr said that Iran would retaliate if any of the nuclear sites within Iran were struck. Iran continues to assert that their nuclear ambitions are for the peaceful purpose of producing electricity. The US has continually asserted that Iran means to develop nuclear weapons. Mohammad-Baqer Zolqadr said that Iran can and would strike back at any country anywhere in the world.



While Iran says one thing, they continue to do the other. After stating that they would not except a deal from the EU to halt their program of uranium enrichment, they have now tentatively accepted a deal to do just that, and then days later they make a threat to attack any country who threatens them.

While they are rejecting and accepting deals to stop enrichment, they complete the construction of a reactor needed to enrich uranium. The Iranian parliament drafts and passes an initiative to continue with their efforts at producing enriched uranium.

With all the contradictions in their actions and statements, it is difficult to tell for sure what they intend to do.

Lemme see..........Iran is going to have 90mil people within 17yrs.......that's a problem as they can't support that..............and sanctions are due to kick in on Thanksgiving if they don't place nice with their nukes........

Then China signed a deal for 70Billion in oil investments.................and Russia likes the nukes for oil/cash relationship................

and they are spending all this money to create peaceful energy.........when they sit on 27% of the World's most accessible oil supply??

This government is either the most arrogent outfit around or...........they are retarded.............maybe a little bit of both?

Weren't these the clowns that during the Iraqi/Iran war had their soldiers rub all that Holy Oil on them to protect from bullets piercing their skin and then ran into battle and got slaughtered?? (Gee I miss that war, couldn't have happened to two better countries..........)

For what reason would you want to take them out?
They have not attacked you.
They've only stated that they will retaliate if they are attacked.
They are entitled to do just that.

They also deserve the right to produce nuclear energy, just as they had that right back in the 1970's when the Ford administration was negotiating nuclear reactor deals with Iran.

Iran wants to protect their country.

Not at all surprising given the war mongering going
on about Iran. With the kind of talk going on even
individuals would want atomic bombs to protect
their interests from governments, more so ANY
nation.

But don't expect Iran to stop their nuclear program
since they are well aware that oil is more valuable
as a resource for the chemical industry, and fission
power plants for electricity is the obvious solution
to preserving their oil. They don't need nor want
fiat paper dollar trash from the US.. and we will
probably see them using the gold Dinar in the very
near future exclusively.

For some reason I don't buy into the rhetoric that Iran is attempting to build "atomic" weapons. It would be pointless to develop them, what would they gain from it? They're not going to develop atomic weapons just to show everyone they have the "balls" to nor to defy Amerisrael. I just don't see the point in Iran even considering developing atomic weapons. Can anyone tell me?

If Iran is attack from none provocation they have all the right in the world as a nation to used any means necessary to protect themself, and I'm afraid they will do it.

If a country as powerful as the US will invade another minor country without provocation I thing any other country that has seen what US can do to their nation has the right to defense themself as a matter of fact the should united and fight for their lands and resources, and I agree with that.

America is strong, and iran is weak. American has already captured two nations afgan and iraq, they will most likely finish the job with iran and syria. These nation's are pieaces of the ottoman empire and culture. New empire will change this old ottoman empire into something else i suspect. Change the mentality and culture that has ruled the arab people for hundreds of years. Mabe bring them to the 20'th century.

I believe 50% of poppulation are persians in iran. Mabe they will rebel againist their muslim occuipor's in iran.
