An entire city has been uncovered in an active part of Iran. The Achmenids were an old powerful ruling dynasty of the Persian Empire. They and their empire were destroyed by Alexander the Great. There have been a number of recent discoveries in the region.

The city of Temukan, an ancient city dating back to the Achaemenid era, has been discovered in the latest excavation at Borazjan in the southern Iranian province of Bushehr.

Archaeologists previously believed the historical site was part of Tavaj.

The recent discovery of the Sang-e Siyah, Bardak-e Siyah, and Kakh-e Charkhab palaces and twenty other sites and historical monuments in the region seems to indicate that the Dashtestan region is the same Temukan of the Achaemenid era

This is in the general region where the Iranian Nuclear Power Plant is located. Sometimes people think that there is nothing exciting going on in the world, or that we need to have all sorts of bizzare hidden histories and conspiracies to keep it interesting. Other people think that there is nothing new under the sun.

This demonstrates that both are wrong. There is plenty of controversy and excitement in history/archaeology, and plenty of room for fantastic, but not fantasy, discoveries. I beleive that this region is also sometimes proposed as the original homeland of the kurdish peoples, but that in itself is another controversy.

The nuclear power plant in Bushehr has been in process since the 1970s.
Delay after delay... revolution, war, global politics... God does not want
this nuclear abomination standing in this holy place. And, now over 30 years
later it is all but finished... and so are we.

The area of Bushehr province is the area of ancient Elam... in the Bible
God says He will place His throne in Elam. [Jeremiah 49]

God's throne is the Ark of the Covenant, which God removed from
the Temple in Jerusalem just before the Babylonians and Edomites
destroyed the Temple. What happened to the Ark ? God moved it
to Elam [modern Bushehr]. The Bible calls the Persian King, Cyrus,
God's Anointed [ Isaiah 45 / Ezra 1 ], so it makes sense God's throne
would be moved to Elam [ Persia = Iran ].
