Accurate satire!

Bill Murray wakes up again and again to find that he is stuck in the same day.

Indeed, this happens multiple times a year with Congress raising and raising the debt limit.. where is the reality check, US Gov?!

Groundhog says: 6 more year in deeper debt... AGAIN

Keep repeating it enough times people stop caring about it, oh wait that's the plan!

1 time democrats say; don't raise when the republicans are in power and the next time it's visa versa.

Same with everything, be it wars or whatever decision must be taken, do it enough times and people just stop caring and again that's what they want I think.

So you are against paying the bills already accrued?

The budget and debt limit are interrelated just as your credit card and the credit card bill are.

You spend money on your credit card = Congress allows spending via budget or continuing resolution.

You get the credit card bill in the mail = debt limit allows for payment of money already spent.

Do you chose to not pay your credit card bill?

Look, we can talk all day about reducing spending via the budget, and probably agree on much of it. However, for money already spent, the bills must be paid. The debt limit allows for this.

Thats just it! Maintaining a debt limit, is like having overdraft protection on your checking balance. It comes in handy!

But blatantly abusing your overdraft, to the point you just keep begging the bank to extend the overdraft ceiling so that you're literally using your CHECKING account as a LOAN WITH NO CREDIT LIMIT?

Surely you'll end up bankrupt and beyond. Its even worse when you keep printing more and more money, but still are in ever increasing DEBT.

Raising the debt ceiling is AVOIDING the real problem, of where is all the funds actually going? They are being abused, stolen, and hoarded left and right!

If your in debt you become a slave to money...

If you have plenty cash you answer to no one and do what you want...

Too many people were making loads and becoming "independant" (answering to no one and gaining a voice)

Thats why we are in austerity because they were losing control and the whip got cracked...imo.

We are constantly being told that we have to make sacrifices to keep the Money system strong and healthy. But why do we have to sacrifice Our lives for something that is not even real. Money is just as real as God.

We don't think God is real, but we would sacrifice moste of Our time 7 days a week for Money that is not real. Money is a indirect form for slavery.

A bank will only issue you credit if you have a job. Because they want a percentage of Your produced value. A bank is not really keen about you being able to pay of Your kreditt very fast. The Bank wants you to pay interest for as long as possible. You are not a good customer if you are able to pay Down you kreditt in a short term. The Banks want you as their customer until you retire.
