For those of you who've never seen Ashens, this is a good introduction. He's a very, very funny British guy who reviews toys. The toys are usually extremely crappy knock-offs of Star Wars and superhero action figures. His review of this violin toy is my current favorite. The toy's maker includes a really bizarre 'history of the violin' story printed on the box. They somehow translate the name 'Antonio Stradivari' as "Antonio Stella bottom tile". Huh????

That was hilarious. We know that Asian countries are the world's largest exporters of funny broken-English sentences, but that was too much. I find myself wondering why these companies don't just hire someone who speaks English and Chinese, or whatever language they are speaking. Heck, they would only need someone who spoke English, as it is often obvious what they are trying to say, although sometimes I am at a loss. That is just crazy.
