Something weird about Half-life

Ok im new here and joined the forums because I have just read about this game being based on a real happening. I some how dont belive it, but I have read here on ATS that the government is portraying the truth through a series of movies, so that the public will get use 2 the idea of aliens and ufos ect. Well games is becoming bigger that movies at the moment, so I wouldnt be surprised.... Ok there is no evidence proving it, but someone saying that this game was real

Dear fellow individuals who participate...
Good day to you all. All me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Walter Bennett, PHD in quantum physics and bachelors degree in biophysics. I was recently surfing the web research the new physics of carbon dating when I came across this web site. Who knew that typing in a physics term like "Half-life" would lead me to such a site. After perusing many of the articles posted on this site, I have come to a startling discovery. Many or all of you are aware of the events that took place at the Black Mesa Research Facility, where I am employed! Yes! The events you speak of actually took place. For a short while I thought you had somehow been leaked this information by government officials, or perhaps my coworkers, but it seems as though someone else got ahold of the information, and made a so called, computer "game" out of it. A game it certainly was not! Running from ravenous creatures from another dimension is not my idea of a walk in the park thank you. But I must say, these events did take place! And I am quite enamored to discover the events that happened to Mr. Freeman. So offered a job by that government official whom always wandered about the halls? I'll be. I always thought he was the odd one, that cold faced man. We were all wondering what happened to him once he jumped through the portal into Xen... We thought he died.

I am happy to announce however, that the facility is now, alien free! We have been in containment for the past 6 years, due to alien hunting... The military forces have left, apparently they were needed in some middle east country. *From what I hear, a dictator there had been developing teleportation technology himself! He could have had troops in the grand US of A had he been allowed to finish!* But I am diverging... We did manage to rid the facility of Xen lifeforms, utilizing the handy tools around the workplace, ahh, quantum laser emmitters are your new best friend! But yes, we have put measures in place to halt another resonance cascade, so we hope it won't happen again. At least at this facility. There are sister facilities all over the U.S, which we havent heard from in a while. But then again, we have been on lockdown for the past 6 years. But again I am diverging! We are no longer under lockdown. The troops have left and we have access to the outside world, and hence, my being here, in computerized form, as it were. I just wanted to say hello, and if anyone has any questions at all, (There seem to be numerous inconsistencies in some of the information you have...) Feel free! I, Dr. Bennett am here to inform the masses!

He-he sounds like one of the Half-Life Dev's are having a bit of fun with the Half-Life community. I enjoyed reading it though.

Disclaimer: I didn't read through the full thread, as my Daughter has Ballet class but what i did read was very funny, some of the guys there where almost hooked by the good Doctor at the beginning. Ill read the rest when i get a chance.

The character is hardly even believable. Funny how the good Doctor decided to change his last name at the end.

Well, I know how face huggers from Aliens do their job, like this, so I was thinking that possibly headcrabs do the same thing, just with different results!
