Saying 4 threads but only got 3.

Nothing major but a bit strange.

When I go into my profile, on the left hand side where it has the basic stats it says I have 4 threads but I have only ever made 3.

And when I scroll down it shows 3 threads.

Anyone else had this problem.

If you ever contact staff or report something or whatever, it counts as a thread.

I've made about 50 odd threads but my thread count is about 300+.... it's really quite annoying but the owners wont fix it so what can ya do?

Well when you opened this thread, you now have 4 showing with 5 total.

The odd one might be a hidden topic started with a mod via a question or complaint.

I think an alert or complaint is counted as a "thread" ?

Not sure about U2U's counting?

I don't think I have ever complained. Only sent a u2u, but it was to SO, maybe that's why.

Here is another oddity.

Go to Members and try to find yourself on the list......

No, when I am on line I see it.

I am talking about the "Members in good standing" list.

I am probably in the top 10 when it comes to flags/stars, which you would think would put me on the list...

I use to be in the top 50 contributors etc. Nope. not list worhty.

But, it's all the love I recieve for which I stay!

To find somebody in that big members list,

you goto the bottom and search the name.


And it seems the old top 50 / top 100 list is gone.

But the border around your "counts" (in the avatar next to a post) is gold or silver or a brighter green for some members.

Complaints count as a thread because they start a thread in the staff only Complaints forum. That's why we constantly tell people to use that feature, it starts a new thread the entire staff will see.

I am sorry if someone has answered your question to your satisfaction already but the answer, in your case, is that you opened your wall by posting in it. Opening your wall is listed as a thread but does not show in your thread list.
