Where should I post a thread requesting that a specific topic be debated?

I would like to see a debate between two willing ATS members on a topic that I'm on the fence about. Should I post a topic in the debate forum to make this request, or in the forum relevant to the subject matter? Thanks.

The ongoing debate forum.

This thread is used for topics and to find willing participants for debates.

You can certainly request to see if anybody is interested. Only members with the 'Fighter' status are capable of participating in debates however.

Alternatively, you can create a thread bout the topic, in the appropriate forum and the community at large will debate of course.

You need the Fighter Status for that as well.
