National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden was voted person of the year by readers of the Guardian, the British newspaper he first shared his classified secrets with.

Snowden was the overwhelming choice of the 2,000 readers who voted.


No big surprise here, but I'm stuck in the current ice lands of north Texas with nothing to do so I thought I'd post it.



Snowden, now living in asylum in Russia, is also on Time's short list for its 2013 Person of the Year.
