No tax and No MOT, How do i go about it?

Hello,

I live in the UK and my car has been without MOT for 2 days now. My TAX runs out tonight but i have a MOT test booked for tomorrow at 12:30pm, Does anyone know if i am aloud to drive to get my MOT done to be able to get tax from a local post office, because without an MOT cert i'm unable to get tax. I have not had the car long and havn't got a code to do it online through the DVLA website...

as long as your cars booked in with a legitimate garage that can confirm your appointment, you'll be fine and it's legal under those circumstances

Yep, just make sure you can prove you were on your way to get these things sorted out and you should be fine.
