The province of Kerala India, experienced a strange red coloured rain that lasted for some time......
I started a thread on it, some time ago...but the "facts" stated were much debated and the actual origin of this stuff was in doubt.
here is a 2013 BBC documentary about it that confirms the origonal bona fides of the people who investigated the mystery and proclamed the results........much to their own derision....
Red Rain in India was very likely EXTRAterrestrial, and proves the Pan Spermia theory to some.....
The debate is still ongoing......and worth ressurection......
Extremophiles (organisms which grow and thrive in very extreme environments....
have been discovered in many strange situations.....from the south pole to inside a reactor....
The pan Spermia theory.....may be the right stuff.....
What says the sage and wise of ATS?
What say you to this BBC documentary?

Cool post, and the documentary was pretty cool too. S+F. They brought up some cool possible explanations based on analysis of samples. Even if this wasn't of extraterrestrial origin, I still think Panspermia is a very viable theory and is likely one of the main ways that the building blocks of and/or microbial life itself gets propagated around the universe.
