Mayor of Talkeetna, Alaska Recovering after Dog Attack

Talkeetna, Alaska's Mayor Stubbs is recovering from wounds sustained from a recent dog attack.

Apparently he was not in a life threatening situation, but city officials are taking all necessary precautions just the same.

Mayor Stubbs has been the Mayor there for 15 years.

He was elected by write in because voters had no confidence in the other candidates.

If only Stubbs could run DC we might be better off!
LOL! Talkeetna is a pretty laid back place, one of my favorite towns in the whole state.

We need genuine leadership !!!

Love that story about Mayor Stubbs and the town! Saw it awhile ago on Facebook. Says quite a bit about how much government we really need, I think.

I'm going to star and flag you just because I died laughing over the title.

It really isn't funny though, and I'm glad the mayor will be making a full recovery. I wish him health and happiness.

Last I heard locally is that he was doing better and had moved back into his office.
Although he is getting up there in years and may retire soon.
