There's some interesting stuff out there about then. I may start a thread about them later. You always knew when something was coming down. They'd
launch between five and seven C-130s and a pair of HH-53s. If you went by and half the -130s were gone you knew something was on the way down.
The pilots were Maj. Frank Biancardi II, and Capt. Curtis Michael, and the SOs were Capt. Chad Nishizuka and Capt. Brandon Packard.
In the close up of the crash site, you can recognize the top of the tail and part of one engine, and that's it. There is literally nothing left of
the aircraft.
All four crew members are Instructors. What's scary is that Capt. Chad Nishizuka's brother, Capt. Reid Nishizuka was the pilot of an MC-12 that
crashed in April in Afghanistan, killing all four crew members.
