So does mine. It's an emachine - crap.

Time to a buy a better one.

Taking out the battery often can help. Often, when a laptop overheats it jacks up the fan in the process. Sometimes it works to replace the fan and that can help it cool down. I did this with a Toshiba laptop from 2004. Overheating can also be a sign that you have bots, adware, and viruses overdoing the system.

Those are some ideas for you.
