Bandit,

Do you remember the atsn news article about the United States FBI go to England and removing harddrives from servers.

Just becouse you are in a nother country does not mean the United States federal government won't come after you.

I am not saying this is/was a good thing, however it is the reality of life now a days.

just a thought, but maybe we should have a contingency plan incase this site is overwhelmed with people we don't want. perhaps have a list of people who were members before a certain date, or have a certain number of points (both of these just ideas to show if someone contributes to the site) and only notify those people if we needed to start a new site for whatever reason.

I seem to remember a while back, when they were cutting to commercial, and you can see all those monitors, that a member reported that one of them had ATSNN up!

I remember that Gazrok. They're watching us alright!
I think if the ATS made CNN it would be because of all the knowledge here!

Besides hasn't the ATSNN News guys/gals posted some special reports, before CNN did? Where do you think CNN gets all their good stuff?

I resemble that remark that we are Kooks! Atleast we're getting help.

Sounds like a good plan. I'd just be worried about being on the list. The other problem is that theres a lot of potential good members out there in cyberspace who haven't been to ATS. But I suppose we still have RATS in case the worst happens.

actually rats probably would be the best way to do it, even if we just use it to notify everyone of a new site. good thinking.

I think in order to increase the chances of ATS actually making CNN, we need to do more independent reporting. Not neccessarily 'Up to the minute exclusives' but perhaps interviews with ex-military and specialist in the field of...whatever.

Also, lets get some original investigative reports. Let's actually have a team to analyze the Diebold Scandal. Maybe throw together a team of ATS members to discover just exactly who is John Titor. Any other ideas?

simulcare that is a great idea. lets get some NSA, CIA, Black-ops, govt operatives inside the guest speaker forum. how bout that? or is that against their contract?

It would be nice to have those kinds of exclusive interviews but keep them off the search engines, we don't want crazy people who are looking for a home just waltzing in. I think publicity is nice and all but too much, or virtually any mainstream media would be bad. Ever hear of the Democratic Underground. I've heard that they take anything and everything and turn it into a Bush conspiricy because it's gotten so large without anything to eat. Apparently their inaguration publicity overfed the site so now it's a disaster.

I'd of course be willing to give an interview, unfortuantly I'm not famous in any way so I'm useless.

Or possibly create a forum where we interview (ex)high government officials and limit access to those members who have 50,000 points. People who search on google and see these exclusives will be enticed to join ATS. When the find out it will cost 50,000 points just to read it, they hopefully will start posting quality content on there own. Or point trolling. In anycase, something like this would be really nice. But we need to get it rolling.

50,000!!! That would take me forever. Oh well it's not like I'd have much to ask. It would be cool to interview somebody from the Omega Agency or something. ATS exlusives would probably lend us credibility which might scare off a few board trolls.

whats the worst is contending with major network news orginazations i bet they pay out thousands of dollars for the more exclusive interviews to high level officials. which is something i think we are not really capable of doing.
